"John Cage" is a recording of a collage made by cutting slices from several records & gluing them back into a single disc.In all other pieces the records were mixed & manipulated on multiple turntables & recorded with the use of overdubbing. Play back at high volume!!!! Over the past 35 years,Christian Marclay has expored the fusion of fine art & audio cultures,transforming sounds & music into a visible,physical form through performance,collage,sculpture,installation,video!!... C.Marclay's sculptures & installations have been exhibited in differents international museums,galleries..And has collaborated with many composers,musicians: Elliott Sharp,John Zorn,Sonic Youth...
