Compared to an original grado PS500 the sound is lot of more fun, more warm and round with more bass/sub bass. The combination of metal, soft coupling and MDF platform material makes for what is effectively constrained layer damping, with enough decoupling to prevent higher frequency vibrations from travelling up from feet to platform. The arrangement gives limited attenuation of very low frequencies, but good performance across mid-range and treble, and the MDF part is relatively non-resonant. This platform proved versatile in use, giving fine results with a range of equipment including both suspended and solid-chassis turntables. It was also very good with CD players, tightening up the sound and also adding bass extension. Amplifiers benefited less obviously, but a valve preamp certainly gained something in the clarity department and a solid-state power amp seemed more detailed in the lower octaves. High treble seemed largely unaltered in most cases, though the turntables gained some slight extra high frequency precision. Hello, Selling here with big regrets my beloved Leica Summicron-M 35mm 1:2 version 4 also known as "King of Bokeh".  This sample is absolutely beautiful. I see no special trace of use on it. It is a lattest version with aperture and scale numbers with the modern square typeface. Focusing is super smooth, aperture ring, well clicked. No problem whatsoever in use. We can see a tiny bit of dust from front, and we can see some tiny bubbles in the glass from the rear wich is normal and common in high quality glass lenses. It is not a problem and will never be visible in pictures. Please check pictures 2, 3, 4.     Sold with rear cap (generic), front cap (rare original black one), hood (original), LEICA E39 UV (UVa) original filter, and original leather pouch.  Really rare to see a lens that is in such a nice condition.  Please watch pictures carefully, they are part of the description.  Happy to ship worldwide, but considering the current situation (covid), I only accept shipping through insured EMS carriers to prevent the lens getting stuck somewhere.
