Very Decorative 3 Light Vintage French Bronze Chandelier A lovely chandelier richly enhanced with flamboyant bronze detailing.   The deep cupped ceiling rose is has an elegant embossed pattern rising from the finely detailed centre. The suspension post has a small delicate hook at the bottom from which is suspended the short chain, which comprises two plain and one fancy link. At the top of the central column is a superb and very large trefoil hook, embossed with detailed swirls of plumage. The column has a slender neck enhanced with soft folded plumes and this widens out to a central piece covered in delightful coquille and acanthus leaves. The centre and base of the chandelier are identical, with a high domed shape, they are smothered in richly detailed trails of acanthus leaves spreading out from the centre and fine stippling on the rim. There is a plain bronze band around the centre and it is from here that the three arms extend.  Each of the rich curling arms is enveloped in sweeping plumes along the length and have deep acanthus flower candle cups set at the end. All are complete with faux candle sleeves. This fine chandelier is completed by lovely bronze finial in the centre base. In excellent condition it has developed a deep aged patina over the years which together with the fine decoration make it a superb and vintage addition to any home. The central column is in two distinct sections. The upper section has a striking acanthus shaped rose at the top, it has a  gently turned rim and is intricately embossed below with rich sprays of laurel leaves radiating out from the centre. Below this a vase shaped column, again with rich foliate embossing, sits on a circular plate from which rise up six slender sinuously curving decorative spurs each one with more embossed leaves and a super little daisy on the top. The scalloped circular plate, with a swagged pattern encircling the underside, also forms a rose for the lower section of the column. It has a slightly larger version of the vase shaped column above and sits on a sweeping capital on the top half of the chandeliers centre. It has an Egyptian type design etched around the extended rim forming a lovely scalloped edge. The six arms extend from the fluted band in the centre of the light. Carved along the length with extraordinarily detailed swathes of scrolled leaves, put together with the candle cups that match the top rose on the central column and they are wonderfully opulent and plush. All are complete with original faux candle sleeves. The base of the chandelier is a mirror image of the top centre of the light with the addition of a large pineapple finial in the centre. It is in wonderful vintage condition and the bronze has developed a lovely timeworn patina over the years that really glows when the chandelier is lit. The remarkable attention to detail and lavish workmanship in this chandelier would make it a stunning centrepiece in any home. Amazing art deco (1920 - 1930) hinged modernist table lamp signed (Charles) SCHNEIDER. The lamp base has a container and mades of over gilted bronze and steel decoration pattern. Actually, I sale exactly the same lamp for if you want to buy a pair (see last picture). And a chandelier with same glass shade design.  See my others items. The glass shade is best of quality and offer a gorgeous and highly geometric design, with flowers. Surface of the glass is acid satinated providing an interesting transparency effect. Signed embossed on the glass shade: SCHNEIDER. Very original item !!! Perfect condition. The lamp just works fine.  The socket is original. Electrical cable is modern, light switch and power socket are vintage. The socket has got a ball joint. Cette lampe fait partie d'une paire, et je vends également la deuxième actuellement sur. Je vends également un lustre - suspension avec une verrerie qui comporte le même décor. C'est une lampe de très belle qualité.  La monture est constitué d'une base, formant vide-poche, en bronze dorée, avec un mât un acier, sur lequel peut monter ou descendre une potence en bronze, qui peut se fixer avec une vis décorative. La douille est montée également sur une rotule qui permet d'orienter la lumière et la tulipe dans la direction que l'on veut. Hauteur totale: 68 cm. Profondeur maximum: 18 cm. Tulipe: hauteur,  13 cm et diamètre,  10 cm. La monture, dont la forme est plutôt classique et inspiré des lampes 1900 ou Art Nouveau a été traitée de façon très moderniste. Les détails décoratifs sont épurés. Et la dorure apporte un côté raffiné qui est relevé par le contraste avec la barre d'acier. Voir les photos. La verrerie est très épaisse, en haut relief, avec un décor géométrique rayonnant évoquant des éclairs, souligné d'enroulement inspirés de fleurs stylisées et de pastilles. Toute la surface a été traitée à l'acide afin de magnifier la lumière. Signée moulée en relief dans le décor: SCHNEIDER. C'est un décor très rare à trouver. La lampe est prête à l'emploi. En effet, la douille est d'origine, par contre la prise et l'interrupteur sont vintage, et le fil électrique est moderne. Petite déformation du socle, qui ne comporte plus sous le socle sa moleskine d'origine, et a perdu son lestage.   Lampe curieuse, élégante, pouvant former une paire avec la deuxième identique qui est à vendre. En excellent état de conservation. BONNES ENCHERES !!!! Regardez bien les photographies. Elles sont nombreuses, et font partie intégrantes de la description. N'hésitez pas à poser des questions. Bougeoir ancien, bronze doré et argenté, Art Nouveau, fin XIXème siècle, France. Le bougeoir ancien de taille moyenne pour une bougie est très beau et richement décoré: le haut d'une jambe fine avec de beaux motifs floraux en relief caractéristiques de l'époque Art Nouveau, on retrouve des motifs floraux et géométriques sur la base. Incroyable travail à la main par un maître français du 19ème siècle, tous les détails sont visibles. La combinaison du placage d'argent et de la dorure sur bronze accentue encore le relief du tableau et permet d'utiliser ce bougeoir en décoration avec des objets à la fois argentés et dorés! Gracieux et élégant, il ne manquera pas d'attirer l'attention! J'ai quelques-uns de ces chandeliers, le prix en magasin est pour un chandelier! L'un des bougeoirs a presque épuisé l'argenture de la base. Il est très rare de trouver de telles choses maintenant! Bougeoir antique moyen: hauteur - 16 cm, socle d'un diamètre de 9 cm, en bon état pour son âge vénérable, avec des traces de temps et d'usage, car il a environ 150 ans!
