Hifime UH1 Digital permet d'écouter de la musique en qualité (horloges TCXO, isolement galvanique) depuis un ordinateur via la sortie USB de celui-ci. La sortie HDMI I2S est compatible avec les 3D LAB Nano DAC. Entrées: optique, HDMI (I2S) et USB: un switch permet le choix entre Low (limite la fréquence à 96 kHz mais ne nécessite aucun driver sous windows) et High (driver windows 10 disponible sur le site de Hifime). Sorties: coaxial, optique, HDMI I2S compatible avec le 3D LAB Nano DAC. Un switch à 2 positions permet de rendre le DSD compatible avec plusieurs marques (pas essayé avec le 3D LAB). Spécifications (issues du site de Hifime): This is the UH1 without the DAC part. It is a pure high quality USB to i2s/DSD (over HDMI), COAX and OPT. This also has i2s/HDMI input (HDMI to USB). It is based on the Savitech SA9227 asynchronous USB receiver clocked by two TCXO oscillators which are used as the master clock to control the timing. This asynchronous USB transfer mode will give this device the responsibility to clock the data transfer instead of of your computer which has a clock of lesser quality with more noise and jitter introduced. It accepts up to 384kHz sample rates and 16/24/32 bit. No drivers are necessary on MAC and linux computers ! On Windows it can work without drivers up to 96kHz/24bit and with ASIO drivers up to 384/32. (Note that not all programs support ASIO). There is a switch that switches between Low and High sample rate mode. When set to Low, it works up to 96/24 with no drivers needed in Windows. It utilises the USB port for power, so no external power supply is required. Also the outputs and inputs are ground isolated from USB. USB INPUT: Asynchronous USB transfer with two TCXO as master clock USB receiver Savitech SA9227 Inputs are ground isolated from USB Supported sample rates: 32, 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4, 192, 352.8 and 384kHz Supported bitrates: 16, 24 and 32 bits Works in either Full speed or High Speed USB transfer mode selectable with a switch (“L” “H”). No drivers required in MAC/Linux in both full and high speed modes. Windows ASIO needs drivers for High Speed mode only. We are using two (expensive) TCXO to act as master clock. 45.1584MHz for 44.1, 88.2, 176.4, 352.8MHz sample rates, and 49.152MHz for 32,48, 96, 192, 384kHz sample rates. The USB transfer is clocked by the TCXO directly. This is better than PLL async mode and offers close to zero jitter. PLL async mode has ~30ps jitter, which is already quite low, but not as good as when clocked from TCXO directly. SPDIF/OPTICAL/i2s(HDMI) INPUT: To USB/computer only! It doesn’t convert i2s to the COAX/SPDIF outputs. SPDIF Support samples rates up to 192kHz and 16/24/32 bit. DIGITAL OUTPUTS: DSD/I2S using HDMI port. Here is a linked drawing with the pinout for DSD and I2s. Note – this it not compatible with “normal” HDMI devices. The HDMI port is only used as a convenient connector and a way to send i2s balanced which improves signal quality. The DSD signal is also balanced. KORG Volca FM Synthesizer Please Read Description.  This fun little fm synth works fine and as it should but has to be synced to other gear as the internal clock does not seem to work. All the time the Sagem MyDual Radio700 is powered up even without a station selected the front screen will display a small top line of year, date and day with a large (four time the size) bottom line showing the time in 24 hour format. It is 20x10x14cm maximum, the right side is the larger being circular and the single speaker with a fine silver/grey mesh the rest of the unit is grey. The display is 7.3x3.5cm with white lettering on a blue background. Outputs on the back are for earbuds, liner out, Ethernet, FM aerial (supplied) and the power lead. There is a status LED that glows green but in most cases this will not even be seen and finally a push button on/off switch. Neither side or the bottom have any connections while the front has a USB stick socket between the LCD display and the speaker. This leaves the top this has a total of eight buttons, five arranged in the ubiquitous joystick combination and three others all clearly labelled. There is a 30 key remote control, however for most actions the eight buttons on top of the unit are all you need. The one exception I have found is entering your WEP or WPA code that needs the numeric (mobile phone type) input on the remote. It finds all the wireless networks in range you select the one you want and assuming it is encrypted then you enter your passcode. It remembers this so next time you return power to the unit although you need to move through the same screens and select the wireless network it then shows the passcode, here I think it should not display the actual code maybe just some dots as the passcode is there for anyone to see. Ethernet is simpler as it is just a matter of connecting an Ethernet cable between the unit and a router. There are literally thousands of Internet radio stations are these are split into Genres. On the Station list there are four choices Locations, New Stations, Popular Stations and Genres. There are 56 Genres listed, as regular readers will know jazz is my passion and there are 100 or these. Select what you want and after a few seconds of buffering you will be listening to what you have chosen, it could be in UK or America or New Zealand in fact anywhere in the world. I found the sound quality good. The FM radio was not as brilliant, there are two sensitivities and even with the supplied wire lead extended fully on the lesser setting it found three stations and thirteen in most sensitive so lots of stations are not found. It then lists the frequencies and in some cases the name of the station beside them. The actual reception quality varied. Lack of space prevents me from giving much detail about the other features, the Alarm Clock (choice of two) is easily set as in the Sleep Timer. The MP3 player works without problem and using it as a Media Server is logical. There is a twenty page Installation Guide that should get you going and also covers using Windows Media Player 11 on your PC. My one real gripe is your passcode being displayed anytime power is restored note I mean the back on/off switch and not the power switch on the top that is really only standby mode.

Rare Icom IC-P4E UHF handy transceiver + new battery pack This is a rare UHF version of Icom transceiver/monobander for the 70cm band. It worksvery well and has lot of features accessibles via Menu (+/- Offset for repeaters, DTMF call, Momories, real time clock, 1750Hz tone, battery savings etc.) This radio has a great sensivity (I have compared with a desktop rig). I had no problem to hear and also to work the local repeater on the "Low" power setting. The battery cells has been replaced with new NiMH rechargeable batteries. This was a cost of 30 eur. They are in new condition.   You can buy for this series of radios new battery packs  or even a battery case for 6 AA rechargeable cells (sold 14eur on).  I sell without charger and antenna (any UHF 70cm antenna with BNC connector will fit).
