Machine Embroidery Floral in centre & unworked  ladder edge across the width     At the moment it is  in its original unbleached condition cream /ecru  coloured BUT will wash whiter with every wash & will need a good long soak before a machine wash to remove the stiffening product as is normal with all new linens of this quality. The base is a solid piece of polished bronze, magnificent manufacture This is a classical Empire style - fully working early to mid 20th century beautiful table lamp made in the Empire or Napoleon style. It weighs 2.8 kilos 6 lbs 3.1 ozs!, measures 41 cm high about 16 1/8 inches, the base is 11.5cm wide about 4 1/2 inches There are some surface scratches, dulling of the surface and some marks but in other respects it is in wonderful vintage condition.
