**RELISTED DUE TO THE PREVIOUS SALE FALLING THROUGH** Eterna 852 vintage handwinding watch from 1942. This is in incredible condition with a beautiful patina - have a look at the pictures to see for yourself. It works perfectly keeping good time with excellent power reserve. The crown is firm and responsive, winding the watch to full capacity within around 20 winds. The dial measures 36mm without the crown. The lug width is 19mm (I wore it on a 20m strap). It's currently on a nice random leather strap from my bag of nice random leather straps, but put it on your favourite to really make it your own - it looks good on a variety of strap colours and styles. All in all this is a fantastic 79 year old vintage watch that is big enough to wear nowadays and functions as if it just came out of the factory in Switzerland - a superb example. Montre à remontage manuel Eterna 852 vintage de 1942.  C'est dans un état incroyable avec une belle patine - regardez les photos pour voir par vous-même. Elle fonctionne parfaitement.  Le cadran mesure 36 mm sans la couronne. La largeur des cornes est de 19 mm (je l'ai portée sur un braclet de 20 mm).  Dans l'ensemble, c'est une fantastique montre vintage de 79 ans, assez grande pour être portée de nos jours et qui fonctionne comme si elle venait de sortir de l'usine en Suisse - une exemple superbe.  C'est que la montre et le bracelet en cuir - vendu sans boîte ni papiers.  Prix négociable.

***RELISTED*** Please look carefully at all the pictures so you know what you're buying. This beautiful Eterna from 1942 has aged incredibly well. The dial has a glorious even, golden crackled patina, and the radium lume on the hands and digits is a deep cream. (The lume no longer glows). The watch works flawlessly, keeping excellent time. The crown is easy to wind with no play or wobble, and once fully wound the watch runs for around 30-40 hours. The unpolished case and back have no marks. The movement is clean. The lugs are drilled making strap changes straightforward. The acrylic crystal is new. Overall this is a stunning vintage piece, 78 years old but still running as if it had just left the Eterna workshop in Switzerland. Service history is unknown, but I've worn it hassle-free so I imagine it's been looked at not too long ago (before I acquired it). It comes on a new leather strap that suits it well (20mm strap squeezed into 19mm lugs). However, put this on your favourite strap when you get it to really make it your own.
