This is a small double quilt in scrap fabrics. It has been well made and has machine construction and hand quilting with star shaped motifs. The quilting is part machine part hand sewn. It is not quilted all over - just in random parts. It needs a little TLC but nothing major.  Not suitable for a perfectionist. Great for snuggles on the sofa. The top  fabric is 100% cotton with synthetic wadding and should not be ironed. The quilt dates from around 2000 and can be used on a bed or on a sofa. Mais l'effet est assez spectaculaire en soi. Le Plaid est doublé au dos, à la Main et surpiqué sur le pourtour. Ce modèle existe en Velours de différents rouges. Les dimensions: 140cm x 140cm. Très confortable et décoratif sur un sofa, dans un chalet comme dans une maison de campagne. Ni trou, ni reprise, couleurs vives, aucune décoloration. Doublure unie rouge, sans défaut également.   Pièce rare, achetée chez un antiquaire en Louisiane en 1970. A utiliser sur un lit, ou en decoration murale Nettoyage à sec récent (cf étiquette sur dernière photo faisant foi).
