                           Gorgeous,original French shade.  Art Deco/1930's. (ref O5). Nice shaped shade with a windmill and trees scene on it.  White inside and blue pleated lower half. Lovely, interesting shade.  Good vintage condition, no cracks or breaks.  These shades are pressed glass so may have some press marks, this is from original manufacture from the mould.  Made in an era when not every items that came out of the factory was perfect, each one a bit unique - for me it's part of their charm and proof of age. The lantern has 6 sides in shaped glass which are held in place with the copper framework and the single bulb holder hangs in the centre of the shade. Vintage French Mid Century copper hexagonal hanging ceiling lantern. The lantern has 6 sides in shaped glass which are held in place with the copper framework. To the top of the light are 3 curved arms which meet in the middle on a centre piece and from this is a bar which leads to a double suspended candle and bulb holder. The candle drips are the old card type and are a little worn in places. The light hangs from a 7 link chain with bar and cup style ceiling rose.
