Aquastar skin diver Stainless steel skin diver from Aquastar, 1960’s. These were famous because they had only one crown and still an inner bezel to calculate the diving time, that one rotates with the crown in the “locked” position. It was thought to be better for the water resistance as there was only one crown hole to protect. Overall Condition: The watch is in superb conditions, specially the beautiful patina that it has developped. The dark blue shining dial is very well preserved, with its writings, showing that it has had short wrist time. No tools marks on the caseback. Note the funny hours hand with arms. Crown signed Aquastar Dimensions: 37,5mm without signed crown. Movement: in house caliber 1700/1 self-winding movement. Comes with a generic strap and buckle.
