COMPAQ LTE 5280 (LTE 5000 series) laptop Pentium 120 Mhz vintage laptop with 48 MB RAM, 810 MB hard drive and active matrix TFT display (800x600 resolution) The LTE 5000 series are the most desirable laptops from the Pentium-1 era, thanks to their great compatibility with DOS / Windows 3.1 / Windows 95 / 98, great sound and graphics. These LTE devices were super high-end and expensive back in the days 1995-1996. * Diskette drive is included and working. AZERTY FR keyboard. Working: - Everything except the battery - Global system / CPU / RAM / hard drive / floppy - Hard drive runs smoothly (Windows 95 installed) - Floppy drive reads disks and can boot from floppies at startup. - Display is great, contrasted and has no dead / defect pixels - Sound and speakers work well too (you can hear the Windows 95 startup sound when Windows starts). Please note: - Main battery and CMOS battery are depleted. They won't hold charge anymore (normal for a nearly 25+ year laptop). Cosmetic condition: - very good with few signs of use - keyboard and trackpoint are great ! - All the plastic flaps are still present and intact.
