HEUER AMI 510.543 MILITARY ISSUED WATCH AERONAUTICA MILITARE EN FRANCE

Heuer Aeronautica Militare Italiana ami 510.543 military issued. Heuer AMI (Aeronautica Militare Italiana) Chronograph from the Italian Air Force Ref. 510.543 (supplied to Italian fighter pilots in the 80s). This watch was completely restored 2 months ago, by a watchmaker: the movement was overhauled and oxidized parts changed, the case had material added + polished, the glass was changed, the date disk was changed (for nearly 1,500 euros). Two parts are not original: the screw-down crown is a SINN 157 crown, the original crown being too damaged to be restored, and the 24-hour hand. Finally, a transparent caseback has been fitted in place of the original caseback, which doesn't have the engraving (I don't know why, I bought the wreck this way). It is powered by a Lemania 5100.
