This one is more elaborate and visually striking than the usual ones, with a beautiful marquetry wood footed board and a reflective gilded metal top. Also noteworthy is the original hook-shape of the knights. The board measures 40 x 40 x 6.3 cm. The king measures 7 cm Pieces are felted. This game was made in 1980 at the Peugeot factory in Poissy, France, using automotive parts. It is a very original piece.
