Jusqu’à 6 enceintes VRX928LA peuvent être assemblées par array. La VRX928LA est le choix idéal quand les performances d’un système Line Array sont exigées dans un espace de petite taille pour lequel les systèmes VRX932 ou Vertec seraient démesurés. Le guide d’onde “Constant Curvature” permet le couplage en arc des deux éléments hautes fréquences intégrés. Quand des éléments VRX928LA additionnels sont ajoutés à l’ensemble, la forme en arc se prolonge naturellement. L’effet obtenu permet de faire fonctionner les éléments comme un seul et même élément, contrôlés par un très long guide d’onde. Du fait de l’utilisation de 2 éléments dans la partie haute fréquence de chaque enceinte, la puissance combinée ainsi que l’énergie acoustique ainsi produite par le système, sont bien plus importantes que ce que pourrait fournir un seul élément. La VRX928LA utilise le procédé “amplitude shading” afin d’ajuster la pression acoustique de chacune des enceintes. L’enceinte supérieure ne sera pas atténuée pour diffuser dans le fond de salle, tandis que l’enceinte inférieure de l’array sera atténuée pour éviter l’excès de niveau sonore sur le devant de l’audience. Une ou deux enceintes VRX928LA peuvent être utilisées en satellite d’un subwoofer VRX915S.
