Minolta Dimâge Scan-Multi F-3000 Film Scanner / US VERSION The Dimage Scan Multi is a desktop device about the size of a shoebox. It measures 7.9 x 16.1 x 4.9 inches (200 x 410 x 124 mm), and weighs about 13.3 pounds (6 kg). Interface to the host computer is via a high-speed SCSI-2 interface. Scanning resolution can be as high as 2820 dpi, this produces maximum image sizes of 2688x4032 pixels for 35mm. For medium-format film, maximum resolution on a 6x9 cm transparency is 2496x3712. The 10.8 megapixel resolution of the Dimage Scan Multi is even higher than you might expect, the Dimage Scan Multi's scan resolution of 2820 dpi is at the top of the range for 35mm desktop scanners. The Dimage Scan Multi captures a full 12 bits per pixel. Have a look at the last picture, i scanned it with the minolta from a kodak 400 tmax 35mm. It is in perfect condition, the mirror has been cleaned. Works super well with vuescan, the original software (available on the Konica-Minolta website) is less efficient if you are looking for perfect scans and especially simplicity of use.
