NIKON FM 35MM FILM SLR CAMERA BODY - FAULTY À BEAUZELLE

Nikon FM 35mm SLR film camera body. Sold for parts or repair as the film advance mechanism is faulty.  Exterior: Some cosmetic wear. No corrosion, no peeling. Dioptre thread looks dented Shutter/film transport: Fires and winds on, but film advance is faulty. The winder arm will keep winding all the way through a film without stopping. The shutter can still be fired after the arm is wound on once. Shutter curtain looks OK. Speeds sound OK.  Electrical: When checked with a battery the meter works. Battery compartment good. Viewfinder/focusing screen: Dust and heavy scratch marks. Mirror good, with minor signs of use.  Lens mount: Lenses can be mounted and removed correctly.  Film chamber: needs new light seals, pressure plate OK. Flash connection: Hotshoe and PC socket both tested and working No other functions checked, not tested with film.  For items sold for 'parts or repair' - I try to give a good description of any faults I find, but it is not always possible to give a complete list, and there will sometimes be other problems not described in the listing.
