This is a reasonably nice-looking example of the pre-Ai version of Nikon's classic moderately-fast portrait lens. Glass is clean and clear: no haze, no fungus, good coatings. Focus is smooth, aperture selector clicks properly, iris blades are clean and snappy.  Please note that attempting to mount this pre-Ai lens on Nikon DSLRs or newer Nikon film SLRs with an Ai feeler could damage the camera.
