This storied portrait lens made in the eastern Zeiss factory (and thus prohibited from using the Zeiss name for export) is in good condition overall but does have a single spot of debris, probably fungus, on an internal element (visible in the second photo). I would not expect this to have much if any impact on performance since it's near the front of the lens and relatively small. Otherwise, glass is clean and clear, coatings look good. Focus is smooth and even, aperture ring feels right, iris is clean and snappy. Includes front and rear caps. Be sure to check out my other sales.
