One of the best MIDI daughterboard card: - Exact clone of the Genuine Yamaha DB60XG - More powerful than the DB50XG - Supports General MIDI and Yamaha XG MIDI formats. Fully compatible with DOS and Windows 3.x / 95 / 98 and later. Simply requires an ISA or PCI sound card with a Waveblaster connector (26-pin). All the games with a MIDI soundtrack will play beautifully with this card ! Tested successfully on my Pentium PC. Please see pictures for details. Only the daugherboard card is included (the base sound card shown on picture - SB16 CT1740 - is sold separately). DB60XG => This card on sale The Yamaha DB60XG is an extended version of the DB50XG, sold only in Japan. In the rest of the world this card is known as the NEC XR385. It is exactly identical to the DB60XG, with two extra analog sound inputs that can be routed through the effects processor. It is rumored that the analog inputs were meant for karaoke or related applications. The DB60XG initializes in TG300 (GS compatible) mode, whereas the DB50XG is in XG mode by default.

KORG WAVE UPGRADE Korg AI20 / SCW 020 MIDI daughterboard wavetable (similar to Creative Waveblaster, Yamaha DB50XG, Roland SCD-10 or SCD-15...) ROM Size: 4 MB (for instruments patches). Very good condition, fully tested ! This Korg card was released in 1994, during the same era as the Creative Waveblaster It's one of the first daughterboard compatible with the SB16. Fully compatible with DOS and Windows 3.x / 95 / 98 Requires an ISA or PCI sound card with Waveblaster MIDI Connector (Sound Blaster 16, Yamaha and many other sound cards from the mid to late 90s). Compatible with MIDI, GM (General MIDI). Tested successfully on my vintage PC with a Creative Soundblaster 16. This card is now very rare and virtually impossible to find. This sale includes the Korg card only. The SB16 shown on pictures are for testings and illustration purposes only (SB16 not included). Caution when installing the card: this is a very sensitive device: - Install it on the sound card when the PC is powered-off and remove first the sound card from your PC to have a good visual point of view on the assembly - Ensure (and recheck) that all the pins are properly aligned and that there is not an b'"'offsetb'"' in a row or column.
