This standard lens in Konica AR mount has some moderate fungus inside -- probably not enough to cause performance problems, but I'm not making promises. La commande de volume et de balance concentrique est assurée par un potentiomètre ALPS à 5 cages distinctes: 1 pour la balance, 2 pour les canaux droit et gauche, et encore 2 dans le cadre de l' accouplement de l' appareil avec un adaptateur quadriphonique. Les étages de puissance à couplage direct sans condensateur de sortie sont faits de transistors complémentaires en boitier métal: différentiel d' entrée Toshiba, drivers Nec en boitier TO-66, et de puissance Nec en boitier TO-3. Ces derniers sont montés 2 à 2 sur de massifs dissipateurs thermiques aluminium à ailettes. La carte driver est enfichée, facilement démontable, et dispose de réglages d' offsets et de courants de polarisation. A l' écoute, le KA-7002 ainsi rénové et optimisé est une pure merveille de musicalité, alliant une puissance confortable à une extrême transparence sur une vaste bande passante. Il montre une restitution très linéaire, avec des timbres parfaitement retranscrits avec un grand naturel. La dynamique est excellente, avec de vrais écarts, francs et rapides, parfaitement maitrisés. L' image spatiale est très ouverte, particulièrement précise. Le grave est contrôlé d' une main de fer, et montre de très bonnes capacités d' excursion dans les extrêmes graves, beaucoup de poids, de tenue, et d' articulation. Les zones médiums regorgent d' informations, sans aucune acidité, avec une grande présence. Quant au haut du spectre, il file très haut dans l' aigu avec beaucoup de ciselé, et une palette multicolore de sonorités. Aussi le KA-7002 fait preuve d' excellentes capacités de maitrise des enceintes grâce à ses réserves en courant importantes. Un grand cru, alliant performances musicales et possibilités !!
