Refreshing The Neurons The original Neuron created quite a stir when it was announced by promising a new approach to synthesis and sound creation, and anyone who heard one, as I did while attending the Frankfurt Music Fair during its launch year, couldn't ignore the range and volume of sounds it produced. I was continuously reminded of the Neuron's impact as it swooped and roared in the background of an interview that I recorded at that show. Now the attractive concept of running that technology from your computer desktop has created a stir of its own. The Neuron VS package consists of two parts, one hardware and one software (as this review was approaching completion, a second software component, Modelmaker, was added to the bundle — see the boxout for more on this). The hardware element is the USB-driven Nuke remote control unit, which offers a single stick controller — the X-Y joystick, of which there are four on the original Neuron keyboard — and four assignable continuous controllers. Neuron VS, the software component, is essentially the synth engine from the original Neuron in plug-in form. Obviously, the keyboard version has the advantage of its own dedicated hardware, so its performance is not dependent on the power of your CPU or the amount of RAM you have installed, as is the case with Neuron VS. Il a été utilisé une 10aine d’heures et avec précaution (reçu en juillet) Le matériel est donc quasi neuf, sous garantie encore environ 8 mois, très propre et complet (chargeur, 2eme protection de confort) Les cartons d’origine ont été conservés. On peut aller sur internet avec par exemple, voir des video youtube, Netflix ou encore mettre une clé usb avec des films (de bonne résolution de préférence car les 2 écrans 2,5k sont d’une bonne finesse) L équipe Cinéra travaille pas mal et propose déjà un nouveau firmware pour de nouvelles fonctionnalités. It has many advantages for these purposes – almost no handling noise, no proximity effect, incredibly sturdy (there was supposedly a show on the Sennheiser stage on some fair in the 1950s where an MD21 was dragged up and down a flight of stairs for hours, and it was still operational after this treatment). Since it was developed for vocal applications mainly, it has a presence boost above 3kHz and can withstand really high SPL. Much like with its cardioid sibling, the MD421, it’s virtually impossible to get a distorted signal out of this mic. In the studio, it can be used as a soft, jazzy kick drum mic, on guitar cabinets and on many instruments where you want to capture a mellow and natural ambient sound without very detailed transients or highs. This is because it is a large-diaphraghm dynamic omni, and as such probably unique in its properties even in most serious studio microphone collections.

I'm selling this MATRIX X-SABRE PRO MQA DAC, one of the best sounding dacs I have ever owned, and i have owned quite a few in my lifetime !  It is in perfect condition, just as new (i take very good care of my audio gear), and comes with a usb cable and a power cord. It also comes with a remote control. I'm selling it with regret, but i am going to upgrade for a much more expensive dac/streamer. I hope the one i get will sound as good as the Matrix !  It is one of the best rated dacs by the audio science review ! It enables the CanAmp to drive virtually any headphones from 8 ohms up to 600 ohms. As its output power (at 8 ohm) is nearly 1W, the CanAmp could drive even a high-sensitivity loudspeaker! The unit has no internal wiring, and the signal path is kept to a minimum on its PCB. Its high-quality, 1 dB-tolerance Blue Alps volume pot goes through a further selection process during manufacturing to achieve an even tighter, 0.5 dB tolerance. The CanAmp not only has a line-level input but offers a line-level output to boot; it can therefore be connected to the TAPE MONITOR output of an amplifier, leaving the TAPE output free for additional components (MP3, MiniDisc, CDR, etc.). The soundtage seems to stretch way beyond the headphones with an airy feel each instrument separated in its own space.
