Don’t get me wrong on that because they sound incredibly good: perfect separation, great timbre, heaps of detail but never over-analytical and always musical and dynamic. Treble is extended and detailed but never harsh sounding. I do like my treble and the Prime does a splendid job for my taste. Treble is on the same level as the mids and bass: clarity, detail and sparkle. The Prime’s sound stage is wide and deep with a perfect balance and 3-dimensionality. I fell in love with the Prime’s sound as a DAC/Amp unit. There is no disappointment here, the Meridian DAC delivers a stunning performance in combination with my desktop sized solid state and tube amps. Nakamichi ST-7E tuner vintage en très bel état very nice ! International bidders are welcome: English version of the announcement and German lower.. I note that the shipping costs are exactly what I pay, I do not take commission. Je mets en vente avec regret une partie de ma collection Hi-Fi vintage afin de financer de nouveaux achats et continue avec un de mes systèmes préférés le Nakamichi 7. Je vends donc dès maintenant deux des pièces maitresses de ce système d’exception fabriqué de 1987 à 1989. En premier lieu le Tuner ST-7E ; sur une autre annonce vous pourrez acquérir le fabuleux préampli CA-7E. Face avant, face arrière sont extrêmement propres. Le seul petit « éclat » significatif a été pris en photo. Techniquement, il fonctionne très bien : c’est un tuner étonnant doté d’un circuit exclusif  le son est excellent car la réception est très propre et le tuner est sensible et extrêmement sélectif. Son seul souci technique est que les digits des led indiquant la fréquence sont pour certaines affaiblies en luminosité voir manquantes j’ai essayé de rendre ce problème en photos ce n’est pas simple ! et l'entourage été nettoyé depuis. C’est malheureusement un mal courant à tous les tuners de cette époque (j’ai un Sony STA 5ES devenu « aveugle » au niveau des led alors qu’il fonctionne toujours parfaitement).   Pour l’heure c’est encore largement lisible et le nombre de présélections permettra de palier au problème s’il devait s’accroître, mais je préfère l’indiquer car j’ai pour habitude de toujours décrire au mieux les objets que je vends. Comme vous pourrez le constater à l’étude des photos montrant l’intérieur de l’appareil qui est très propre d’origine, non modifié, non bricolé. Je possède cet appareil depuis une plus de 20 ans et en suis le second propriétaire j’ai même la facture originale  du 10 01 1989 pour un montant de 7800 francs ! Technically, it works very well: it is an amazing tuner with an exclusive circuit the sound is excellent because the reception is very clean and the tuner is sensitive and extremely selective. His only technical concern is that the digits of the LEDs indicating the frequency are for some weakened in brightness see missing I tried to make this problem in photos it is not simple! and the entourage has been busy ever since. The legendary Noctilux F1 This is the third variant of the Noctilux (after Noctilux F/1.2 and Noctilux F/1 E58) and the second variant of the F1 Noctilux, so it has a E60 filter thread and a removable lens hood The lens is in excellent cosmetic and functional condition It was sent to Leica Germany last year for CLA, digital optimization and 6 bits coding. So it performs extremely well if you can focus F1, especially when focussing is not an issue like on Leica SL or SL2. Extremely shallow depth of field, vintage Leica glow and soft transition between in and out of focus areas. This one is sold with lens caps, lens hood and its box. For sale is an original first-issue, and extremely rare 5Ω version of the Beyer DT-48S, from 1964, perfectly working with original box and NOS/never used replacement earpads (oval and round). - Made in Western Germany Unique Opportunity to own a piece of audio history ! DT-48S (S for Stereo) were the first stereophonic headphones built with Nagra-Kudelski specifications, to be used in tandem with the Nagra IV-S or Nagra SN tape recorders. At the time it was a largely hand-made production and cost 224 deutschmarks (price list). 
Some DT48S were even OEM’d as Kudelski instead of Beyer.

 Condition: They are not mint but for 56 years-old headphones, they are in excellent shape. The actual silver metal drivers are intact without a single scratch, no rust or anything on the metal headband. It was gently used, and very well taken care of. It is terminated by a standard stereo 6,35mm jack.

 There is only visible wear on the upper headband coated-foam material (that tends to dry overtime) but this is still one the most well-preserved (and complete!) original DT-48S set I have ever seen. Some history: 

 The most famous user of those headphones, is without any doubt Stanley Kubrick. You can see him on a photograph from the set of Clockwork Orange, wearing the 25Ω version of those, with oval ear-pads. 
In fact, those were designed for monitoring dialogues and ‘concrete’ sounds in mind, as well as very surgical applications like lab-work, aural testing and the like.
 Usage: Music comes out dramatically different and unhyped as they are very medium oriented, bass is present but depends on the way it was recorded, and it is known that oval ear-pads are adding bass due to the way they isolate the ears. 
With very transparently recorded music, like some albums from the ECM label (think Arvo Pärt) or ethnographic records, jazz and some classical and experimental music (and with the right preamp of your choice to drive them) those Beyers are unbeatable and still a reference today in revealing the naked truth. Perfect for hyper-critical mixing, and obvisouly monitoring. Be ware that it really takes getting used-to but the reward is unmatched. 

This is a reluctant sale, but I have to finance studio gear.

I have owned this from new 1987. It has been extremely well looked after, though a bit dusty. No marks or scratches anywhere. Plays lovely, though the cartridge will now need changing. I still have the original packaging, so if you really want it posted, this is possible. All the bits come apart and are packaged separately in their own special packaging. The whole thing weighs about 10kg plus packaging of course. We will have to discuss this separately. I would of course prefer it to be picked up, but you will have to come to Brittany in France for that. If you want any other photos, just ask. I changed the belt about 5 years ago and it is still perfect.  I don't need to explain what a lovely piece of engineering this is and how rarely they come up for sale. Even after all these years it runs as new. You can see my record collection on Discogs (Hotspicytea) to know I am a serious record collector.
