Very Nice Nakamichi 1000 ZXL in exceptional condition. The tape deck has been totally renewed both electronically and mechanically in order to reach the best possible performance. The description of the work that has been performed in this unit is here below: All the electrolytic capacitors have been replaced by the Top quality capacitors, and this includes the failure prone "orange film capacitors" that must be replaced (according to the Nakamichi recommanded tolerances) to secure the unit in the long run and get the best performance: a total of >230 caps have replaced by new ones. The 3 relays have been replaced by new (meaning unused) ones in order to improve the long term reliability of this state of the art tape recorder. Regarding the mechanism, a Nakamichi specialist named "Audio Retro" (one of the Nakamichi best specialist) has changed all the belts and the pinch rollers. The sophisticated mechanism has been totally lubricated properly. The mechanism and the azimuth have been tuned. Audio Retro has also optimized the frequency response curves using an oscilloscope and the appropriate equipment. The final result is truly excellent, just the same as a brand new Nakamichi 1000 ZXL. I have tested the tape deck in my own home afterwards and I was very surprised to hear so many details on very old tapes: the quality was far beyong my expectations. You will be able to experience an unmatched image quality(the sensor is still ranked an all-time #2 in Dxomark with an excellent score of 101, still dwarfing any full format wonder of 2020…), with a body build to last and stay with you for serious studio work, or the wildest adventure outdoor setup. Ricoh-Pentax is legendary for its weather sealing, and so is this body. To be honest, it is only for health issues that I am selling. I tried the Hasselblad mirrorless X1D, the fuji GFX50s (dreadfull experience with the laziest AF in the world and a poor battery life), theGFX100 (much better experience, but I wasn’t impressed by image quality and rendering…must be the glass), and I always come back to the Pentax 645z. I have never been impressed by Fuji GFX image quality. I Liked the Leica S (again it must be the glass and the lens design that make the real differences), the Hasselblad was interesting, but way too expensive comparing with the Pentax, not even considering the weather sealing and the very long list of ergonomic treats you get from Pentax engineers. It is about creating images and only this, it is not a smartphone. It’s a photographer tool, not a toy. In 2018 I was disappointed by Canon full-frame offering. The5d4 was too expensive and there wasn’t a gap in quality from any canon full Frame since 5d2 and I decided to enter the medium format world with the 645z. I already tried it in Japan in 2015 and I said “well, this would be nice…”. After having bought this camera with literally undying battery life (what a refreshment comparing with all electronic newest camera), I just went to my garden and started right away the 120mm macro. I was dumb because I had no AF at all, but discovered the cleverest mechanism for AF/MF switch to date:sliding the focus ring. There is a slight click and I was all set. Yes the screw motor lenses are a bit noisy, but it’s nice and at the first picture of a random blossoming flower…God almighty, it was like a facepalm, struck by beauty and sheer quality. I decided to keep on the Pentax 645z journey and collect some lenses. The 28-45mm was very soon my favorite landscape lens,equivalent to 22-35mm, extraordinary quality, stabilized, totally weather sealed…those words should surprise you as medium format+stabilized lens+weather sealing…seldom go together. Then came the 90mm macro f2.8, stabilized as well and weather sealed. This may simply be the best lens I’ve ever used for portrait work, incredibly smooth yet detailed. Bokeh is one thing but volumes,transition, tones, textures, it’s just amazing for portrait, and pack shots as well. I wanted to try tele lenses, and acquired the 300mm “star”lens. Build like real lenses with metal, feels solid. Image quality was amazing too, I capture incredible shots of tigers with it, and this lens can really tell stories and add a unique identity. All the lenses are incredible, sharp, and each with unique though I must admit the 150mm f2.8, even though hailed as the portrait king by some other photographers, was often left on the shelf. I discover the craft of using 80s East-Germany Isco lenses for the Pentax and I assembled my favorite lens with a 135mm F2projector lens. This one is really a collectible, manual focus only, it cannot go to the infinity (but for portrait, who cares?) require a good amount of focus skills and mastery of yourself, but it is a very rewarding lens. I sell 2 Roland Boutique JX-03, in perfect condition, like new with all packing, box, manual. As you probably know, this is the best JX-3P VA emulation available on the market.   The JX-3P condensed the signature Roland sound users had come to expect into 64 stunning presets. Beautiful design, meticulous craftsmanship, and ease of use—the JX-3P was a Roland synth for aspiring youngster and virtuoso alike. The most attractive quality of the JX-3P is its versatility. The presets alone provide a masterclass in sonic engineering. Present midrange, shimmering high end, punchy bass frequencies—it’s all there in the JX-03.    Augmented by the PG 200, JX-3P users could navigate between out-of-the-box excellence and infinite customization. Visceral control options, not one but TWO stabilizing Digitally Controlled Oscillators, and Roland’s unmatched soundscapes—it’s no wonder the JX-3P shines brightly on countless classic recordings. The JX-03 includes all the controls of the PG-200 and the graphic charter of the JX-3P. The lower row is composed of illuminated buttons, allowing to manage presets, programs, sequences and global functions. On the left there are two expression ribbons with recall and lateral backlighting depending on the position,  one for pitch bend, the other for modulation; the first one also allows pre-listening of sounds when nothing is connected to the machine. The connections, located on the back, are common to the Boutique series: power switch, USB port type micro B (power, MIDI and audio), mini volume control, headphone output, line output, line input (routed directly to the analog/USB audio outputs, for cascading several modules) and MIDI input/output in DIN format. All audio connections are in stereo mini-jack format. Underneath the module is a small speaker (which we'll talk about later) and a hatch for inserting the 4 AA-LR6 batteries supplied (if a USB mic/mains power cord is not supplied). In conjunction with the small speaker and the pitch bend ribbon, they make the synth totally autonomous, at least during the 6 hours announced by the manufacturer. A serious alternative to be considered by those who are put off by the rarity, the price, the ergonomics (without PG-200) and the maintenance of the JX-3P (I know what I'm talking about for having owned and maintained many vintage synthesizers!!) This is my preferred Boutique synth after the JP-08.

PLATINE VINYLE LENCO L-82 EN PARFAIT ETAT.   Platine Lenco L-82 fabriquée en suisse à partir de 1976. Elle est en parfait état de fonctionnement et en bon état esthétique (voir les photos). Elle est 100% d’origine. C’est une platine manuelle avec arrêt automatique et levée du bras en fin de disque Sur le plan technique : -Elle possède une très bonne cellule Shure M-75-6 avec son diamant de marque Shure en très bon état. -La courroie est neuve. -La platine tourne à la bonne vitesse, elle atteint sa vitesse rapidement, elle est totalement silencieuse, -le système de montée et descente du bras fonctionne parfaitement, ainsi que l’arrêt automatique en fin de disque. -Le bras est en parfait état avec tous ses réglages opérationnels. -Les cordons audio et secteur sont d’origine et parfaitement opérationnels. Sur le plan esthétique, -le socle est très propre et sans défaut majeur (voir les photos). -Toutes les sérigraphies sont présentes, -Le capot est en bon état. A noter cependant une rayure peu visible sur le dessus et une fêlure à l’arrière près d’une charnière ainsi qu’une minuscule partie recollée sur l’autre charnière. Le capot est parfaitement opérationnel, il s’ouvre et se ferme sans difficulté, il tient ouvert ou semi ouvert. Il peut rester fermé, ouvert ou semi ouvert pendant la lecture des disques. Il faut cependant le manipuler avec douceur. -Les petits défauts ci-dessus sont totalement invisibles lorsqu’on regarde la platine de face.   La L-82 de Lenco est une platine de qualité, fiable, facile et agréable à utiliser et très simple à régler. Note, a scratch on the top and a crack at the back near one hinge as well as a tiny part glued to the other hinge.  The dust cover is fully operational, it can be opened and closed without difficulty, it can be held open or semi-open. It can remain closed, open or semi-open while playing discs. However, it must be handled gently. The DA-40 builds on the feature set from the DA-20mkII, adding functions that professionals depend on. SCMS codes are totally controlled on the DA-40. You can select what SCMS status you want to write to the DAT, depending on where the DAT is being sent. For cueing purposes, 2 locate points are added, allowing direct locate capabilities even if there is no track ID at that location. Additionally, the single play function is ideal for live environments. It allows the engineer to cue in one track and forget about the machine - it automatically sets itself at the next cue. For presentation and on-air applications, this is very useful since the machine won't accidentally roll into the next cue on the DAT. Another handy function on the DA-40 is the ability to read and write track names. The track name will show up on the DA-40's text screen for easy reading. Track names make it immediately obvious which cue you are listening to. This is especially handy when dealing with multiple mixes of the same material, like the same ad spot with different regional specials, or multiple mixes of a jingle.
