More than 7 kgs and an exceptional musicality. It is working without external antenna. This tuner is in the same category as the Tandberg 3001A but much easier to fix. FM stereo tuner in which the drum type long scale dial plate was carried. In addition to a frequency linear 5-unit variable condenser and one step of RF, MOS FET which was excellent in the noise characteristic is adopted as a front end part. An eight linear phase ceramics filter and LC circuit are adopted as an intermediate frequency amplifier, and the degree of selection is improved to it. Moreover, the improvement of a stereo distortion is also aimed at by adoption of a broadband ratio detection circuit or a phase compensation circuit. While the first - voltage gain - stage is based on an integrated circuit of the highest audio pedigree, the second - power gain - stage is a single-ended, pure Class-A amplifier. It enables the CanAmp to drive virtually any headphones from 8 ohms up to 600 ohms. As its output power (at 8 ohm) is nearly 1W, the CanAmp could drive even a high-sensitivity loudspeaker! The unit has no internal wiring, and the signal path is kept to a minimum on its PCB. Its high-quality, 1 dB-tolerance Blue Alps volume pot goes through a further selection process during manufacturing to achieve an even tighter, 0.5 dB tolerance. The CanAmp not only has a line-level input but offers a line-level output to boot; it can therefore be connected to the TAPE MONITOR output of an amplifier, leaving the TAPE output free for additional components (MP3, MiniDisc, CDR, etc.). Gold-plated RCA terminals are used, and soldered directly onto the fibreglass PCB. Measured performance is excellent, the bandwidth going far beyond the audio range in both bass and treble, with low distortion into any normal headphone impedance and plentiful output. Output level isn’t everything and the Heed will in any case drive even harder, but this amp impressed not least on account of its large audio scale. Indeed, even with quite modest volume-control settings the soun just seemed big and generous, tonally, dynamically and even spatially. Funnily enough, this was perhaps more pronounced with some unaccompanied solo vocals than with orchestra or mega-rock, but that just serves to remind one that the human voice can indeed be a very big instrument. Perhaps if you like your music a bit on the polite side this may seem a touch excessive, but we freely confess that we just loved it. Tonality is great too. Very wide soundstage. Open airy 3D sound. The soundtage seems to stretch way beyond the headphones with an airy feel each instrument separated in its own space. Imaging is well defined and the midrange and treble are at a level that makes listening for long periods very non-fatiguing. The Op-amp can be swapped for other types to give a different sound balance if preferred such as the AD823AN (more pronounced high end) or LM4562NA (more forward sound with better bass control). X-RARE JVC MF-55LS Hi-Fi 3 IN 1 Music System This is a fantastic audio system from 1971 made by JVC in Japan. The cassette deck section is a one motor unit with mechanically controlled transport. It has manual EQUALIZER and BIAS selection for Normal, Fe-Cr and Chrome tapes. Recording level is manually adjustable with two needle type VU meters. ​Instead of Dolby noise reduction this unit uses a JVC proprietary noise reduction system, the ANRS (Automatic Noise Reduction System) and the Super ANRS. The turntable section is a belt drive manual unit with S tonearm and a JVC cartridge. The radio section uses a beautiful tuning scale that stretches across the front edge of the unit. The amplifier delivers 25 W/channel @ 4 ohm. For an external source there is an auxiliary input at the back and there is provision for two sets of loudspeakers, one set for DIN plugs and the other one for bare wire. Je vends un peu de ma collection d’Hi-Fi vintage pour les fêtes et en l’occurrence un Sony ST-88 qui constitue avec son ampli dédié le TA-88 également en vente la première mini chaine Hi-Fi de l’histoire. Il y avait également un décodeur quadriphonique que je n’ai jamais trouvé… Voilà une belle façon de rentrer dans l’univers de l’Hi-Fi vintage. L’exemplaire que je vends est en très bel état car il ne faut pas oublier que ce petit tuner par la taille mais grand par le son a été fabriqué entre 1973 et 1976… les photos montrent je l’espère au mieux les petits défauts esthétiques dont il est affligé vous constaterez qu’il n’y a rien de grave. Techniquement il fonctionne très bien; la diode stéréo en façade n’est pas défaillante le vumètre de réception fonctionne parfaitement, l’éclairage du cadran idem voir dans les dernières photos ; il reste bien calé sur la fréquence sélectionnée. La sérigraphie est impeccable. Evidemment comme toutes les électroniques de cet âge, il gagnerait à être « recapé » dans les règles de l’art mais déjà ainsi il a un son très étonnant au niveau et une réception de  qualité. Le son est chaud et chaleureux les voix sonnent vrai c’est une belle surprise à l’écoute. Je précise que si j’ai dissocié son ampli dédié de cette vente c’est que les façades des deux appareils présentent une différence de tonalité du métal malgré un nettoyage des deux façades j’avais pourtant acheté les deux appareils au même vendeur mais il y a peut-être une année de fabrication différente. Si vous achetez néanmoins les deux le port sera naturellement groupé. Il y a une trace de frottement sur l'échelle des distances, voir sur les photos.  Etat optique proche du mint: lentilles très propres sans champignons, rayures ou brume, je ne vois quasiment pas de poussières internes.  Mécaniquement tout va bien, mise au point douce, diaphragme réactif et sans trace d'huile.  Cet objectif est très recherché et c'est probablement l'un des 100mm macro les plus intéressants. There is one friction mark on distance scale, please look at pictures.  Optically near mint: very clean glass with no fungus, no scratches, no haze, almost no dust I can see.  Mechanically everything is fine, smooth focusing and dry and snappy aperture.  This is a very sought after lens and probably one of the best long macro you can find. It's build like a tank and has great sharpness, colors and contrast.  For Minolta analogic cameras or to adapt onto every mirrorless camera no matter the brand.  With caps.  Please feel free to ask questions.
