Elle est mature en 3 à 4 mois. La plante exige un sol humide. Un arrosage régulier doit combler les besoins de la plante en eau. Des semis trop denses raccourcissent la durée de floraison. Lorsque la Phacélie produit des graines viables, elle peut elle-même devenir une plante envahissante La semence de Phacélie est dormante pendant au moins deux mois après la récolte. La Phacélie attire également les abeilles qui sont des agents de pollinisation pouvant être utiles aux plantes voisines. En semant de façon continue de mai en fin d'été, on peut aussi obtenir une floraison continue de juillet à l'automne. Lorsqu'elle est plantée sur de grandes étendues elle a la propriété d'éliminer les mauvaises herbes tels que le chiendent, et elle est très agressive vis-à-vis des plantes adventices Elle attire une grande diversité d’insectes auxiliaires des cultures, En automne, la Phacélie est utilisée comme engrais vert riche en azote. Avant que les fleurs ne montent en graines, la plante est fauchée, broyée puis enfouie ou utiliser comme paillage. De plus, ses longues racines pénètrent le sol en profondeur aérant ainsi la terre. Botanique La tige pleine et rigide, couverte de poils raides et assez épaisse, peut atteindre un mètre, teintée de rouge. Son système racinaire est dense. Les feuilles, alternes, sont profondément divisées et rappellent celles de la tanaisie. Les belles fleurs très parfumées sont groupées en inflorescences scorpénidés, serrées du genre cyme. Fabulous old large white French pillow case.  Framed by a lines of small jours.  In one corner there is a fabulous large letter monogram with the letter C M.   Gorgeous and white.  This lovely pillow case is in light white cool cotton On the reverse, a third of the way down, is the place to insert the pillow with buttons to fasten.   Pillow size approx (laid flat) 25 1/2" x 27" (64.5  x 68.5cm) with a border of 1 3/4" (4.5cm) Lovely condition.  It is bright and white.  I can see a couple of minuscule rust stains (please see note re linens etc below) and a couple of areas where the border row of jours has come away slightly in places.  A few stitches from you clever ones out there should get that sorted quickly and easily! *Important - It must be remembered that old French linens and alike were usually very well kept and stored in fabulous grand armoires. It must also be remembered that these are old antique items were used and often show the passage of time - but generally we accept those little imperfections or marks... so please keep this in mind when you buy old French linens... normally a wash through will rid of any marks or odours from long storage and some stubborn marks will probably benefit from modern stain removal products, however some marks may remain.*  Please note This item is Antique or vintage French. The charm of another era. It has lived a story. It was therefore used or has been in storage a very long time. Despite all my time and attention in preparation and checking, a detail can always escape me.
