ASL Starter Kit #2 G U N S The copy is new, still in its shrink wrap as shown in the picture. This Module, the second in the starter kit series focuses on artillery pieces and anti-tank guns. It is self-contained: you get everything you need to begin playing Advanced Squad Leader. Though it is recommended to start smooth with the module 1, Starter kit #2 is a stand alone game and can be the entry point into the ASL world since it also teaches new players the basic concepts of the major Infantry and Terrain rules of ASL by using an illustrated rulebook. If you own and play ASL Starter Kit #1, it will be easy to spot the new rules of ASLSK#2: they've been highlighted so that you can skip rereading what you've learned in ASLSK#1 and get right to the new rules! HIGH GROUND 2 This ASL scenario pack produced by Bounding Fire Productions focuses on Firefights on hilly/mountainous terrain, hence the title. High Ground 2 is a pack that includes the best of the original High Ground release from Heat of Battle. From the original pack, the 2 original mapboards (I and II) that make up the famous large hill are included under starter kit format, and 7 of the original 8 scenarios are present, updated (only the first scenario featuring Australians vs Japanese has been left apart- ??). BFP has expanded the original product with 9 new scenarios + two new beautiful mapboards depicting mountains with village terrain, and a specialized half-board castle overlay. What is remarkable is that the 16 scenarios are printed on high quality double sided glossy cardstock in full color (the illustration + the counters). Bounding Fire Productions is a third party producer of ASL products. They have high production standards and produce excellent maps, pieces and well designed scenarios. As an ASL player myself, I enjoy playing the scenarios they produce and love their maps. Advanced Squad Leader Starter Kit Expansion Pack #1 The Expansion Pack has been designed with all levels of Starter Kit players in mind and includes something for everyone.   It includes three boards q, r and s consisting of a small city board, a village/woods board and a rural woods/hill board.   In addition the Pack comes with 8 scenarios set in locations such as Poland 1939 Finland 1942 Sicily 1943 France 1944 and Germany 1944.
