It use a strip (leica 14170), 4 mm wide,  in order to write information by contact on the film (technical data such as exposure parameters, date and time) the ancestor of "EXIF"! the usage can also be diverted since you can write / draw anything you want on this part of the negative. Il est remarquablement adapté à un usage vidéo avec une rotule de ce genre, d'autant plus que ce type de plateau reste très populaire pour cet usage.     Sa pose est facile sur une rotule Manfrotto mais peut également être adapté à peu de frais à quasiment toutes les balls (voir sur) du commerce.     Le plateau pèse 124 grammes et est entièrement en magnésium; la présence de plusieurs niveaux est un vrai plus. Boitier en très bon état et parfaitement fonctionnel.Le miroir, le verre dépoli et le viseur sont clairs, la cellule, le déclencheur et le retardateur fonctionnent parfaitement. Socle en parfait état. Material checked over - Fully cleaned, serviced, new film door light sealing and mirror damper foam have been changed by professionnal foams of different densities (not windows foam!). The top cover has been dismounted and all parts cleaned also the viewfinder and the prism. Very good overall condition. The camera is in perfect working order. Mirror, focusing screen and viewfinder  are clean and clear, metering, shutter and timer work perfectly. Base plate pêrfekt. Le miroir et le verre dépoli sont propres. Le déclencheur et le retardateur fonctionnent parfaitement. La cellule est juste, je l'ai comparée à mon posemètre Digital SEKONIC L758D. Le viseur est lumineux et propre avec seulement quelques poussières sans incidence dans la visée.
