THE BEATLES - RECORDED LIVE AT CANDLESTICK PARK, SAN FRANCISCO, AUGUST 29, 1966 BULLDOG RECORDS (Italy), 1988 Their last concert ! From consequenceofsound.net: "The group knew it was to be their final concert. Recognising its significance, John Lennon and Paul McCartney took a camera onto the stage, with which they took pictures of the crowd, the rest of the group, and themselves at arm’s length. As The Beatles made their way to Candlestick Park, Paul McCartney asked their press officer Tony Barrow to make a recording of the concert on audio cassette, using a hand-held recorder. The cassette lasted 30 minutes on each side, and, as Barrow didn’t flip it during the show, the recording cut off during final song Long Tall Sally." This is the only really listenable recording from the 1966 US tour, and of course an historical document. Not that the sound quality is perfect, but it's the best you can get: as it's been recorded close to the stage, you can actually hear the Beatles play ! Any Beatles fan will be very happy owing this ! The CD plays fine, obviously.

One by one, first John, then Paul, they recorded 23 of their newest compositions by double-tracking themselves on George's Reel-to-Reel-tape-machine. These songs, most of whom where written during the Beatles' two-month-stay on a meditation-course in Rishikesh, India, February - April 1968, were subsequently recorded for the 'White Album'. But not all of them made it onto vinyl and thus remain unreleased (at least as Beatles-versions). Judging by the outcome of this session, it must have been a very sunny and relaxing day. Spring certainly was in the air (and a bit of pot maybe too). Just accompanied by their acoustic guitars, John, Paul and George recorded very charming and joyful early versions of their newest tunes. Something slightly out-of-sync with their own double-tracking but who cares? Spontanity counts! Had this session been recorded 25 years later it would have been a bonafide TV-Unplugged-performance! But as it is, this 1968 session remained in the vaults until now !! We proudly present this tape to you in the correct running-order and in the best possible sound (two generations away from the actual master-tape). Enjoy! The short acoustic bit of "Helter Skelter" was recorded on 11th June, 1968 at Abbey Road studios. The last two tracks were recorded in India. The light atmosphere of these musical snippets set the tone for the "Kinfauns"-session. THE BEATLES * 7`* EP * HELP * SWEDEN ORIGINAL 1965 ORIGINAL SWEDEN PRESS 1965 LABEL: PARLOPHONE GEOS 234 RECORD: VG++ COVER: VG+  ........the Swedish collection of beatles record covers is rare because the paper in these covers is very, very fragile. and after 60 years not easy to preserve them.... difficult to find impeccable pockets because often there are initials of names, a piece of scotch, corners cored, even small tears but PARFOIS the pouches are very clean. and following expert advice from this country I give evalautions according to the quality of the covers labels and records listened. the Swedish pieces are VERY VERY FEW and fairly listed on the world record market... so not easy to find !!!!!
