En résumé, Le Bessamatic reste un merveilleux boîtier, lourd et très bien fini, fabriqué avec des matières nobles comme le laiton sur les bagues des optiques par exemple, et dont la prise en main est très agréable. Le bruit de son obturateur est aussi un gage de qualité, un peu à l’ instar de celui que l’on entend en claquant la portière de certaines berlines allemandes. Enfin, les optiques ont un piqué remarquable, notamment le Septon f :2/50mm L'Ultramatic CS prit la succession de l'Ultramatic qui était paru en 1962. La différence essentielle avec ce modèle, c'est que la cellule frontale à sélénium a été remplacée par une cellule CdS (d'où le CS du nom). Il s'agit d'un reflex automatique débrayable (le Bessamatic est semi-automatique) avec choix de la vitesse ou du diaphragme et à objectif interchangeable. Le miroir est à rappel automatique; la visée est possible sans armement. L'obturateur Synchro-Compur permet les vitesses de la seconde au 1/500. Cet appareil coûtait très cher lors de sa sortie (1355 francs en 1964, avec le Septon 2/50 mm)

SUPERB, RARE Voigt set that includes: - A Bessamatic with very nice cosmetics and in working order: shutter fires at all speeds including low ones that "sound" correctly, light meter is lively to light exposure but setting the right exposure is no longer possible (includes the incident light cover that is missing most of the time), viewfinder is clear with some light specs of dust.  - A skopar 2,8/50 and Skoparex 3,4/35 is overall great conditions with no fungus, no haze, no scratch and easy focusing. A Super-Dynarex 4/135 is also part of this auction, but its diaphragm does not seem to work anymore although it has clean lenses and very nice cosmetics as well. A wep kinotelex 2x converter is the last lens of this set, in extremely good conditions in every regards as well. This set comes in a hard to find original Voigtlander outfit leather case in VGC, which has inside 5 Voigt lenses (portrait, UV, Skylight, yellow and orange - each in VGC), a Voigt lens hood (VGC) and 5 lens caps, a Voigt adapter. The instructions notice and a Bessamatic book, in VGC, will be joined as well. Do not miss this uncommon set of such a vintage classic camera that comes complete in VGC with all its accessories !!! BEAUTIFUL exemplary of this classic Bessamatic CS camera that comes in overall EXC conditions: cosmetics are super nice with shiny chromes; shutter fires at all speeds (including 1s that sounds good and self-timer that does still work); light meter is untested as I have no longer any battery to do so; viewfinder is clean with some few usual specs of dust inside. The Septon lens looks great as well, with no scratch/no fungus/no haze and very smooth focusing (to be noticed a very light separation on the edge); comes with its original Voigt front cap. Also included are 2 Voigt brochures (EXC), 3 filters 54mm (Focar B, Medium yellow & orange - EXC) in boxes (VGC), 1 collapsible rubber hood Cenei (EXC), the camera leather case (not pictured but in VGC). This lens was the moderate wide-angle analogic lens for the Kowa SER, the first generation of Kowa SLR cameras with interchangeable lenses. It is a 6-lens design with f2.8 aperture, very compact, and like all Kowa lenses in a beautiful hill and valley design with a chrome nose. Here it impresses with good sharpness from open aperture, and the background behavior is really b'"'specialb'"' (whether particularly beautiful is in the eye of the beholder - it really depends on whether you like it particularly soft or rather b'"'busyb'"'). In order to give a direct feeling for the performance and the bokeh behavior, I would like to start with a small aperture row in the close range.
