Both shows signs of battery leakage (see photo 3), particularly the silver player which may need some cleaning, but both seem to work and play perfectly. There are a few marks commensurate with age and use, but apart from the battery marks they are in pretty good condition -- please take a good look at the photos. It does have few cleaning marks.   Shutter: The Shutter works fine, all speed correct The aperture iris uses 10 baldes. Of course both speed selection and aperture ring works smoothly. The timer works well.   The front plate is not bended and is perfectly aligned with the film plane. The focusing it smooth.   The advance lever is smooth and the counter works well. There is no light leaks It was equipped at some point in its life with a rolleikin to use 35mm film. Today it remains only the 35mm film counter on the side. I learned the hard way that if you push it, it starts spacing the views for 35mm. To get it out, push it 36 times to get back to “0”. If you only use 120 film, just leave it on “0”, then it will space the views for 6x6 photos.   Please note: -The shutter lock (plastic) was broken and fixed. The XPan utilized a dual-format, producing both full panorama 24x65mm format in addition to conventional 24x36mm format on the exact same film. It was the first dual-format 35mm camera on the market that expanded the format instead of masking it, making sure that every exposure utilized the full area of the film. In very good condition, though it has lots of defects on its coat of paint, more on front than back, and the little window is a bit foggy. Other than that it’s practically new and used very little. The player works perfectly though, playing and recording. All functions work. Autoreverse on the push of a button. Great powerful sound for a walkman. The body however is a bit rough (check the photos), there’s a few cracks in some places in the plastic and a little bend in the steel part. Apart from the scratches, all the defects are noticeable upon close inspection only and dont affect normal use. For these reasons sold alone as is for parts or restoration.
