Stylish French vintage brass 3 light chandelier with glass shades dating from the 1960s. The chandelier is made up of a brass center  piece from which come curved arms leading  to bell cup shade holders. From the shade holders comes separate  arms which meet at the bottom on a central finial. The shades are in a bell shape opaque glass in a shaded terracotta colour. The chandelier hangs from a 3 link chain bar and round cup style ceiling rose.This stylish chandelier would suit many room settings adding a French vintage retro feel to your home decoration. A vintage solid brass cast door knocker in the form of a sailing galleon ship under sail.  This type of door knocker was very popular from the 1950s onwards as Austerity was ending after the war and people sought to improve their door furniture.  This door knocker is not marked with a manufacturers details but is typical of the period.  This is door knocker which is cast with its own striker plate is a particularly good example as it is well cast from a high grade brass that weighs 364g and is 14.5 cm in height x 11 cm in width   This door knocker is a larger example and is quite simple in that it carries no words such as Mayflower, Golden Hind, Victory, 16th Century Galleon or other inference such as nationality on the sails.  It is simply a door Galleon door knocker.  The Galleon has a smooth nicely polished surface and would ideally suit a period property in a seaside location.    SEE PICTURES see pictures before purchase ************************************  In the shop you will find a variety of items, some new, some used a little and some lovely vintage finds.  Sizing differs from brand to brand and some items have the wrong size label.                            Gorgeous,original French shade.  Art Deco/1930's. (ref O5). Nice shaped shade with a windmill and trees scene on it.  White inside and blue pleated lower half. Lovely, interesting shade.  Good vintage condition, no cracks or breaks.  These shades are pressed glass so may have some press marks, this is from original manufacture from the mould.  Made in an era when not every items that came out of the factory was perfect, each one a bit unique - for me it's part of their charm and proof of age. All my shades are sold with a brass gallery fitting for hanging, hole in gallery is 28mm. Does not include bulb holder. Possible chipping around the neck, this does not show when gallery is fitted. Jolie lot de 5 anciennes suspensions. 4 en verre avec opaline + 1 globe en verre Fabrication des 4 verreries en verre opaline tournant autour  des années 1920,  sauf pour le globe en verre vers 1940/1950  En très bon état, aucune fêlure, aucun choc,  juste les classiques sauts de verre sur les bordures d'accroche des abats jours,  cela fait parti de leurs  vécus  et ne nuit en rien à leurs bonnes tenue  de plus invisible avec les accroches  métallique,  donc insignifiant  a mon gout. les douilles et les accroches métallique  en laiton sont en très bon état également. toutes sont fonctionnelles. 3 abats jour mesure 25cm de diamétre et un 24cm de diamètre  et le globe 14cm de hauteur sans la douille 13cm d'ouverture du col. Pas de problème pour l'expédition, je suis habitué aux livraisons d'objets fragiles,  jamais de casse !
