This is my own built Grado. This headphone are made from rose wood with leather headband with high end nhoord driver. It's cabled with high pure copper cable from France for a total of 8 core (0,35mm each) cable ended in 4 core for each channel. The built of the cable are made for provide the best conductivity and the best quality possible without sacrifice the flexibility of it. For finish the plug is a popular Viablue Jack. The headphone is entierly made with lot of care for the best durability and performance possible. Compared to an original grado PS500 the sound is lot of more fun, more warm and round with more bass/sub bass. For my self i will compare it between a PS1000 and a HD600 without lost the grado energetic feeling. It's your chance to get a really rare and unique headphone built to their highest spec ! Selling my custom built EL34/KT77/6L6GC/6P3S-E Single ended class A Triode/Ultralienar tube Amplifier. I have built this amp myself based on a Douk Audio chassis but with some important design improvements and better components as follows: - Audiophile coupling caps: Jantzen Audio superior Z 1200V - ELNA Cerafine cathode bypass caps and Vishay filter caps - Takman(Japan) and Allen Bradley carbon composite resistors in audio critical circuit spots - Triode / Ultralinear switches (original design is only UL) - Cathode bias adjustment knobs with resistor networks in parallel (inexistent in the original design) Adjustable bias allows for usage with a wide range of tubes. It is thus a great start for tube rolling. The amp is offered with the following tubes: A pair of JJ KT77 power tubes A pair of 6P3S-E power tubes A pair of 6H8C preamp tubes 1X Svetlana 5U4G / 5C3S rectifier tube 1X 5C4S / 5Z4 rectifier tube Important:  The amp should not be power cycled while hot/warm to avoid cathode stripping and rectifier sparks in order to preserve the life of tubes. UL/Triode switching should be avoided during operation Bias switching during operation is okay in this configuration but should be avoided. Fano-style custom-ordered guitar by famous French luthier Roger Daguet. Renowned for his reissues of Epiphone (Crestwood, Wilshire and Coronet) or his fantastic Mosrite reissues, here is your chance to get your hands on the only Fano-style guitar he has ever made. The bridge is a one-off part designed by the luthier upon my request. It's built from a metal billet and matches the hardware used by Fano. The guitar is dated and signed on a label underneath the neck pickup. The set of P90/Tele pickups are special order from Skatterbrane and they are hum-cancelling when both are selected. The guitar is super lightweight (3260g!) and 100% handmade. Comes with a high quality Les Paul shaped SKB hardcase.  I had custom ordered that guitar for my 40th birthday but have drastically reduced my musical activities and guitar collection. That guitar has never been played outside my studio and is in mint condition. As it's a handmade guitar, there are a few finish imperfections but nothing serious (no ding or whatsoever). For sale is an original first-issue, and extremely rare 5Ω version of the Beyer DT-48S, from 1964, perfectly working with original box and NOS/never used replacement earpads (oval and round). - Made in Western Germany Unique Opportunity to own a piece of audio history ! DT-48S (S for Stereo) were the first stereophonic headphones built with Nagra-Kudelski specifications, to be used in tandem with the Nagra IV-S or Nagra SN tape recorders. At the time it was a largely hand-made production and cost 224 deutschmarks (price list). 
Some DT48S were even OEM’d as Kudelski instead of Beyer.

 Condition: They are not mint but for 56 years-old headphones, they are in excellent shape. The actual silver metal drivers are intact without a single scratch, no rust or anything on the metal headband. It was gently used, and very well taken care of. It is terminated by a standard stereo 6,35mm jack.

 There is only visible wear on the upper headband coated-foam material (that tends to dry overtime) but this is still one the most well-preserved (and complete!) original DT-48S set I have ever seen. Some history: 

 The most famous user of those headphones, is without any doubt Stanley Kubrick. You can see him on a photograph from the set of Clockwork Orange, wearing the 25Ω version of those, with oval ear-pads. 
In fact, those were designed for monitoring dialogues and ‘concrete’ sounds in mind, as well as very surgical applications like lab-work, aural testing and the like.
 Usage: Music comes out dramatically different and unhyped as they are very medium oriented, bass is present but depends on the way it was recorded, and it is known that oval ear-pads are adding bass due to the way they isolate the ears. 
With very transparently recorded music, like some albums from the ECM label (think Arvo Pärt) or ethnographic records, jazz and some classical and experimental music (and with the right preamp of your choice to drive them) those Beyers are unbeatable and still a reference today in revealing the naked truth. Perfect for hyper-critical mixing, and obvisouly monitoring. Be ware that it really takes getting used-to but the reward is unmatched. 

This is a reluctant sale, but I have to finance studio gear.
