I tested this SX-70 with a new pack of film: the motor runs, but the dark slide does not eject.  When I press the shutter button, the camera appears to a take a picture (mirror flips, and longer shutter speeds are used in low light) but no film is ejected.  Apart from the that, the camera looks nice. Lomo KM-120, objectif de projection 120mm f1.8. Cet objectif a un rendu assez classique en proxy, avec un arrière-plan doux. A distance, effet Petzval prononcé: le sujet placé au centre est net, le reste flou et tourbillonnant. Piqué tout à fait convenable pour ce type d'objectifs, mais pas très contrasté (bien avec un peu de post-traitement). Diamètre 62,5mm, aisé à adapter sur un appareil photo numérique (bagues sur hélicoïde). Exemplaire en très bon état. Quelques traces d'usage sur le fût. Optiques sans rayures ni champignons, quelques poussières. ------------------- Lomo KM-120, 120mm f1.8 projection lens. This lens has a rather classical rendering in proxy, with a soft background. At a distance, the Petzval effect is pronounced: the subject in the centre is sharp, the rest blurred and swirling. Sharpness quite decent for this type of lens, but not very contrasty (good with some post-processing). Diameter 62,5mm, easy to adapt on a digital camera (rings on helicoid). Copy in very good condition. Some traces of use on the barrel. Optics without scratches or fungus, some little dust.

There were about 6000 given away to dignitaries and delegates, where they were a huge sensation. The small commemorative plaque on the top of the camera is made of brass with red enamel. The serial number is 8569047. It was manufactured in 1985 (1 year before the Congress) in Soviet-era Leningrad by Leningrad Optics and Mechanics Association (LOMO). This is the most complete set I have collected. In addition to the manual, leather case, and box, it even contains 2 film rolls from the year, and they are packed in a box of the same color as the camera. It's almost the same as the collection of the museum. This camera is almost like new and work perfectly. But after 35 years, due to the long time, the packaging and the leather case have been slightly damaged naturally, and the leather has aged. The camera foam is damaged, as you can see in the photos I cleaned out the old foam.  I can replace it with a new foam if you need it. Please see photos for details.

OK, this is something special. It came in with a Minolta AF-S (also for sale separately). It appears to be a custom, one-of-a-kind leather case designed specifically for that camera. It appears to be made of something like ostrich leather, crazy as that sounds. The stitching is precise, and the inside has a soft lining. There is a cutout along the top rear edge that provides access to the AF-S's viewfinder and flash release. I am almost positive this is not a commercial product: there is no branding, and there is no tripod screw attachment in the bottom of the case, yet it precisely holds an AF-S (as seen in the pictures). This super-speed normal lens in Minolta's SR mount is perfect for adapting to mirrorless digital use. Glass is clean and clear: no fungus, no haze, no marks that I can see. Focus is smooth, aperture ring clicks precisely. The iris blades are clean but they are *not* snappy -- they are too slow to use on an SLR and will probably result in overexposure if you try. This is *not* a problem when using the lens on a digital camera with an adapter since the iris is pre-set to the taking aperture when taking a photo. The only other problem is a slight filter thread ding that might make it hard to use filters -- I don't have a 57mm filter to try, unfortunately. Cosmetic condition is very good, minimal wear. This is a nice example of Canon's update to the classic AE-1. Everything appears to work and overall condition is good except for a slight bend in the hot shoe retention rails. You can still attach a flash (I'm including a Canon Speedlite in the sale). Shutter fires, curtains look good, wind-on is smooth, viewfinder is clean and clear, battery compartment is clean, frame counter advances and resets properly. Also includes body cap and finger grip. This Leicaflex SL's mirror is stuck in the up position. If you try to wind-on the shutter, the arming lever stops immediately, but pressing down on the shutter release suggests it's not armed.
