Here we have a Linhof Technika IV 5x7-inch (13x18 cm) camera. It is in pretty good used condition, and appears to be fully functional. The front standard take a bit of pushing to get onto the track, but all the movements and adjustments are smooth. There are no pinholes that I can see in the bellows (I checked with a flashlight). Ground glass is included, and viewing hood is intact. The handle leather is cracked: I would not trust it to hold the camera. OK, this is something special. It came in with a Minolta AF-S (also for sale separately). It appears to be a custom, one-of-a-kind leather case designed specifically for that camera. It appears to be made of something like ostrich leather, crazy as that sounds. The stitching is precise, and the inside has a soft lining. There is a cutout along the top rear edge that provides access to the AF-S's viewfinder and flash release. I am almost positive this is not a commercial product: there is no branding, and there is no tripod screw attachment in the bottom of the case, yet it precisely holds an AF-S (as seen in the pictures). I tested this SX-70 with a new pack of film: the motor runs, but the dark slide does not eject.  When I press the shutter button, the camera appears to a take a picture (mirror flips, and longer shutter speeds are used in low light) but no film is ejected.  Apart from the that, the camera looks nice. Here we have a Braun Nizo S55 Super 8 camera. The motor runs but there is no sign of the aperture metering display in the viewfinder, and pressing the battery check buttons does nothing. It's not clear if the camera is actually metering but the display is just dead, or if the whole metering system is malfunctioning. There's also some coating wear on the front element of the lens, but the internals look clean and clear (as does the viewfinder). Power zoom works. This superzoom camera basically works but the zoom control can be a little picky -- you might need to move it a couple of times before it makes a good connection. This cute little camera is untested because there's no charger for it -- you can find one on easily, or maybe you have a compatible one lying about. This is a nice example of Canon's update to the classic AE-1. Everything appears to work and overall condition is good except for a slight bend in the hot shoe retention rails. You can still attach a flash (I'm including a Canon Speedlite in the sale). Shutter fires, curtains look good, wind-on is smooth, viewfinder is clean and clear, battery compartment is clean, frame counter advances and resets properly. Also includes body cap and finger grip. This Praktica B-mount lens has some very mild internal haze, unlikely to impact performance much if at all. The front element shows some hairline coating scratches, again, nothing to worry about in terms of function. Focus is smooth, aperture selector clicks evenly, iris blades are clean and snappy. This Foca, like so many Focas, no longer works. The shutter doesn't fire. You can look through the viewfinder and see the nifty rangefinder-style focusing patch (lens focus is smooth). Looks like there's some fungus in the lens itself. Cosmetically, the camera is in good shape. I hope someone can restore it, but it makes a nice shelf piece as-is, a relic from the twilight of French camera making. Be sure to check out my other sales. This lens is a mystery to me. I believe it uses the T4 universal mounting system, but I can't remove or even identify the bayonet that's on it right now. The notch makes it looks like Konica AR, but it won't mount on a Konica camera. Also, there's the bit of metal ring that's bent upwards -- I can't tell if that's supposed to be like that (it might fold down easily if mounted on a camera) or if it's damaged.  The lens glass is in very good condition, clean and clear with no fungus or haze. This Rolleiflex 3.5 F appears to be fully functional and is in good user condition.  - Lenses are clean and clear: no fungus, no haze, no marks.  - Shutter fires on all speeds. - Meter is working and accurate. - Aperture works properly. - Selectors and controls feel good. - Focus is smooth across the range. - Back opens neatly and closes tightly. - Wind-on is smooth. My understanding is that this camera's back is equipped with a special pressure plate that can accept a glass insert to maximize film flatness (hence the bulge towards the bottom of the back). However, the glass plate is not present (the camera can be used normally without the glass insert). This is the most tactical-looking accessory to feature on the Camera Sanctuary so far. If you really want to "shoot" your SLX, this is what you need. This Rolleiflex T is in very good condition and appears to be fully functional. Glass is clean and clear, with no haze, no fungus. There is a small scratch on the viewing lens but no marks that I can see on the taking lens. Shutter fires on all speeds, sounds good. Focus is smooth throughout the range. Viewing screen (split prism) is in good condition. Viewing hood pops up and folds down neatly as it should, magnifying loupe works. Back fits nicely, locks properly.  This is one of the later Ts, which supports shooting 16 6x4.5 cm frames on a roll of 120 film, as well as the more typical 6x6 12 exposure configuration. The mask for shooting 6x4.5 is included and installed in the camera -- be sure to pop it out if you want to shoot 6x6! Removing the mask automatically sets the frame counter to 12 mode. This Rolleiflex is in rough shape. It is missing its arming lever, so I don't know if the shutter works. Side panel is not attached, as seen in photos. One back hinge is missing. Focus does not work. May have other problems I am not aware of. This Italian camera's shutter button has become disconnected from the shutter mechanism itself. The shutter actually works (you can trigger it from inside the camera) but the bar that should link the button to the shutter is missing. This super-speed normal lens in Minolta's SR mount is perfect for adapting to mirrorless digital use. Glass is clean and clear: no fungus, no haze, no marks that I can see. Focus is smooth, aperture ring clicks precisely. The iris blades are clean but they are *not* snappy -- they are too slow to use on an SLR and will probably result in overexposure if you try. This is *not* a problem when using the lens on a digital camera with an adapter since the iris is pre-set to the taking aperture when taking a photo. The only other problem is a slight filter thread ding that might make it hard to use filters -- I don't have a 57mm filter to try, unfortunately. Cosmetic condition is very good, minimal wear. Here we have a beautiful example of Nikon's iconic fast fifty. This is the "S·C" version, which as far as I know was only made in the pre-Ai F mount. This lens does have an Ai mount, so it was presumably modified at some point: the conversion is expertly done, perhaps by Nikon itself (I think you could send in your pre-AI lenses for modification for a while). It will now work with modern Nikon SLRs and DSLRs.  Anyway, this lens is in excellent condition. Glass is clean and clear, no fungus, no haze. There is a tiny mark on the rear element (visible in the second photo) but otherwise the glass appears pristine and unmarked. Iris blades are clean and snappy. Aperture selector moves nicely, focus is even. Includes original front and rear caps (the classy old Nippon Kogaku type that feel like bakelite) and the lens's HS-1 hood.  Be sure to check out my other sales. This is a reasonably nice-looking example of the pre-Ai version of Nikon's classic moderately-fast portrait lens. Glass is clean and clear: no haze, no fungus, good coatings. This Voigtlander filter is in good condition -- there is a tiny amount of what I assume is coating separation at the edge (visible in the photos) but it would not impact performance. This Zorki-4K needs a little help. Shutter seems to work on higher speeds but at 1/60 and slower the second curtain hangs open. The viewfinder is clean and clear and the rangefinder patch is nicely contrasty and visible, but there's a problem with the feeler that couples the lens to the rangefinder mechanism. The feeler moves in both directions, but it should push itself out towards the lens with a spring, and it does not -- instead, once it's been pushed in, it stays in. Lens looks clean and clear, just the usual dust. This VSL 3-E seems to have some kind of electronics problem. The viewfinder display lights up "60" with the other speeds showing flashing dots, no matter what the settings. Shutter fires at specific speeds, but in A mode mirror locks up. Cosmetically, the camera is in like-new condition. It was acquired from the stock of a former camera store, and my guess is it was a return that failed shortly after the original owner bought it. Here we have an example of this German large format lens in good user condition. There is some light partial haze visible on an element inside the lens, but its unlikely to noticeably impact real-world performance. This is a "King" brand slide duplicator. It appears to be unused.
