Leica Summicron 50mm F/2 This lens is the scarce original black paint version. Serial number dates it's production to 1966. Good general condition. Some brassing on the barel as seen on the pictures. I can see a few cleaning marks when shining a light through the lens and maybe a very very faint amount of haze. This won't show with bare eyes, only when a powerful light is shined inside and would most definitely not alter picture quality. Mechanically, the lens is perfect. The aperture ring clicks like it should and there is no oil on the blades. The focus ring is smooth as expected. Front and rear lens elements are matching, with the same serial number as you can see on the last picture. The lens is like new, probably never used ! Real piece of collection. Barrel have no sign of use, glasses are cristal clear, focus ring is lovely smooth and aperture blades have no oil and are very snappy. There is just few normal dust in glasses, perfectly normal and no damage on pictures of course. It comes with original used box, back and front caps, and the original 35/2 hood.
