DOUBLE CD EN PARFAIT ETAT SAUF LE COFFRET  The Blues Brothers est le nom d'un groupe de blues américain composé des comédiens Dan Aykroyd et John Belushi et de quelques-uns des plus grands musiciens de blues. C'est également le titre d'un film sorti en 1980, racontant l'histoire fictive de ce groupe John Belushi (alias le chanteur « Joliet » Jake E. Blues) et Dan Aykroyd (alias le chanteur et joueur d'harmonica Elwood J. Blues)1, tous les deux membres de l'équipe originale de l'émission de télévision Saturday Night Live (SNL) de la chaîne NBC, créent The Blues Brothers et leurs identités alternatives au début de 1976 pour chauffer le public du SNL. Les Blues Brothers font leur première apparition directe dans SNL, avec Belushi et Aykroyd portant leurs costumes d'abeilles, qu'ils portaient normalement pour le sketch « Killer Bees », jouant « I'm a King Bee » de Slim Harpo. Dans les semaines suivantes, The Blues Brothers deviennent un ajout populaire au spectacle et commencent à apparaître de façon semi-régulière. L'aspect humoristique repose en partie sur l'image de deux hommes habillés de costumes noirs ayant l'air de tueurs à gages mafieux, qui soudain explosent en chansons et danses énergiques. Jake et Elwood sont appuyés par des gens de qualité, comme le guitariste Steve Cropper et le bassiste Donald “Duck” Dunn, tous deux issus du groupe Booker T. & the M.G.'s, ainsi que Matt “Guitar” Murphy. Les Blues Brothers enregistrent leur premier album, Briefcase Full of Blues, en 1978 lors de la première partie du comédien Steve Martin à Los Angeles. L'album devient disque de platine, incluant les titres Soul Man et Rubber Biscuit qui figurent tous les deux dans le Top 40. En 1980, le film The Blues Brothers, réalisé par John Landis, sort sur les écrans de cinéma, avec les apparitions d'Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Cab Calloway, Ray Charles, John Lee Hooker, Carrie Fisher, Frank Oz, Steven Spielberg, John Candy, Joe Walsh, Pinetop Perkins et Chaka Khan. Paul Reubens, encore inconnu à l'époque, y joue le petit rôle d'un serveur. Le 5 mars 1982, Belushi, devenu cocaïnomane, meurt à Hollywood d'une surdose de speedball. En 1988, Cropper, Dunn, Murphy et d'autres reforment le groupe pour une tournée mondiale. Marc Steckar has recorded over twenty discs using the tuba and in 1990 he started to mix the tuba with other ensembles, big bands, brass bands, wind bands, and choirs. In 1994 he composed several concertos for tuba, euphoniums and trombones and in 1999 received the Sacem Prix Printemps. After studying the cello and the trombone at the Paris Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique he went on to play in a number of Big Bands. In the 1960s he accompanied Marlene Dietrich, Nat King Cole, Sammy Davis and Charles Aznavour, and in 1970 added the tuba, working as a studio musician and recording with Michel Legrand, Vladimir Cosma, Michel Colombier and others. From 1973 to 1983 he accompanied Claude Nougaro with Eddie Louiss and Maurice Vander, and played in the orchestras of Martial Solal, Michel Portal and others.  In 1981 he formed his own group, the "Steckar Tubapack", and his first recording in 1982 won the Prix Boris Vian, awarded by the Académie de Jazz. Marc Steckar has recorded over twenty discs using the tuba and in 1990 he started to mix the tuba with other ensembles, big bands, brass bands, wind bands, and choirs. In 1994 he composed several concertos for tuba, euphoniums and trombones and in 1999 received the Sacem Prix Printemps. He has gone on to compose several children’s tales and concertos for clarinet quartet, trumpets and bass trombone, all with wind ensemble.  O.D.A.S.S. est un orchetre d'harmonie créé par  RODOLPHE PIERREPONT.
