Antique French Vintage This is a classical style, Louis XVI - fully working mid 20th century beautiful table lamp. Beautifully cast. It weighs 601 grams 1lbs 5.2 ozs and measures 22.5 cm high about 8 7/8 inches, the base is 8cm wide about 3 1/8 inches There are some surface scratches, dulling of the surface and some marks in the plate but in other respects it is in wonderful vintage condition. This is a lovely vintage light It works well and has recent electrical wiring but as with all electrical goods, they need to be checked by your local electrician. This lamp is in fully working order. Gorgeous, so elegantly French, beautiful wall 'appliques'.  Beautiful  almost ormolu colour..  Such elegance!  Heavy and very good quality They measure approx 11 1/4" (28.5cm) in length.  The wiring is good - it looks new.   (It is always generally advised to get electrical items checked and fitted by a qualified person.)  There are a few nibbles on the top of the  'candles' s to each light as to be expected with age - so they look, perfectly aged in my view!  They are also different on each light as often happens.. These are really beautiful  wall sconce's.  They could go anywhere in the house.  Beside the bed, in a hall way over a hallway table...  I personally like them when they are set at different levels or perhaps in a bathroom to add a superb touch of elegance!  But that is just my preference... To put these wherever you want - don't forget, you can actually have long wires put onto these, and then simply plug them into a socket. We are happy to offer for your consideration of vintage Arts & Crafts Spanish Revival style porch lamp from France. Made out of a cast iron with decorative bent wire and glass on the side it is in good vintage condition. The wiring will certainly need to be checked. All of the glass is in good shape and the metal is in good shape. It has a slight patina to it but certainly could be repainted all black if you would like. These style of pendant lights are meant to mirror the large streetlights in France. They are found outside every Every home door and are made to light the way and to receive a guest. The French love the Spanish revival style for outdoor lighting. So much of what they have is made out of steel and iron. It looks very nice with a stone exterior, and gives a timelessness to the fixtures as well. They could just as easily have a candle lit inside as the modern light bulb.
