Classical guitar, Audirac, made in 1986. Very good condition. There are several small scratches on the top, and a crack that was repaired by Damien Nickels, a luthier in the Lot. The guitar has a very warm and soft sound, a real pleasure to play. With case. I’m selling it because I’ve switched to acoustic.  Guitare classique, une Audirac, de 1986. Hand made Classical Guitar by Christoph Sembdner in 2016. This beautifully crafted hand made guitar with a Cedar top is very pleasing to the eye. It has wonderful projection with beautifully balanced tones. 650mm scale length. 52mm nut. 3mm action at the 12th fret. Sloane tuners. Canadian Cedar top and Indian Rosewood back and sides. José Ramirez II took over from his father when he died in 1923. Among the apprentices of the time present in the Ramirez workshop are names such as Marcelino Barbero or Manuel Rodriguez.   This guitar is made of spruce with back and sides in pearwood. The basses are ample and deep, the trebles are soft and singing, a lyrical and moving musicality.

Sakazo Nakade would be with his brother Rokutaro the first Japanese luthiers who went to Spain in the 1950s to study traditional Spanish lutherie in the workshops of José Ramirez and Hernandez y Aguado. So he is considered the founder of the Japanese school of Spanish guitar making. Sakazo Nakade and his brother have trained a large number of Japanese guitar makers, one of them being Masaru Kohno.   This guitar dates from 1965, on the label is noted the name of the person for whom it was made. The lutherie work is perfectly done. It is a well-balanced instrument, the timbre is rich and expressive, its musicality is lyrical, a beautiful instrument with an endearing character.

This 1976 Jose Ramirez III 1a concert classical guitar is from the heyday of Ramirez when Andres Segovia was playing a Ramirez. The Ramirez master craftsman who built particular instrument was JL (José López Cubillo) who stamp number 12 is found inside the guitar. The guitar is a master piece of the luthier's art, impeccably made of the finest woods.  Canadian Cedar for the soundboard and a gorgeous Brazilian rosewood for back and sides. Fretboard is ebony. Spanish Cedar is used for the neck of the guitar and the headstock overlay and bridge are made of Brazilian rosewood.  Overall the guitar is in excellent condition. No cracks, and aside from some scratches on the top, it has had no repair. Just 3 small peeling varnish at the rosette, that my luthier refuses to correct (photos). * play Mind blowing sound, timbre richness and depth of a mythical, sustain breathtaking. She is very well regulated, with a fairly low action in acute for playability and a lowered fretboard in basses for an energetic and sound play. The case is original. For sale is an original first-issue, and extremely rare 5Ω version of the Beyer DT-48S, from 1964, perfectly working with original box and NOS/never used replacement earpads (oval and round). - Made in Western Germany Unique Opportunity to own a piece of audio history ! DT-48S (S for Stereo) were the first stereophonic headphones built with Nagra-Kudelski specifications, to be used in tandem with the Nagra IV-S or Nagra SN tape recorders. At the time it was a largely hand-made production and cost 224 deutschmarks (price list). 
Some DT48S were even OEM’d as Kudelski instead of Beyer.

 Condition: They are not mint but for 56 years-old headphones, they are in excellent shape. The actual silver metal drivers are intact without a single scratch, no rust or anything on the metal headband. It was gently used, and very well taken care of. It is terminated by a standard stereo 6,35mm jack.

 There is only visible wear on the upper headband coated-foam material (that tends to dry overtime) but this is still one the most well-preserved (and complete!) original DT-48S set I have ever seen. Some history: 

 The most famous user of those headphones, is without any doubt Stanley Kubrick. You can see him on a photograph from the set of Clockwork Orange, wearing the 25Ω version of those, with oval ear-pads. 
In fact, those were designed for monitoring dialogues and ‘concrete’ sounds in mind, as well as very surgical applications like lab-work, aural testing and the like.
 Usage: Music comes out dramatically different and unhyped as they are very medium oriented, bass is present but depends on the way it was recorded, and it is known that oval ear-pads are adding bass due to the way they isolate the ears. 
With very transparently recorded music, like some albums from the ECM label (think Arvo Pärt) or ethnographic records, jazz and some classical and experimental music (and with the right preamp of your choice to drive them) those Beyers are unbeatable and still a reference today in revealing the naked truth. Perfect for hyper-critical mixing, and obvisouly monitoring. Be ware that it really takes getting used-to but the reward is unmatched. 

This is a reluctant sale, but I have to finance studio gear.
