Disque / Record: VG++ Vraiment pas joué souvent mais porte des écritures sur le label de la face B Really not played often but bears writings on side B label Graduation system: M (MINT) Sealed, never played, new in its original packaging. NM (NEAR MINT) Almost perfect copy, never or very rarely played. At worst, one or two surface marks, generally insignificant and due to inner sleeve. This the highest grade for an unsealed record. EX (EXCELLENT) Very clean copy, some insignificant surfaces marks (hairlines). This record has been rarely played, on good equipment and treated with care. The cover has very minor flaws: a name or discrete initials, low wear corners, very slight ringwear. VG + + (VERY GOOD + +) More surface marks.Minor flaws or cover wear, minor edge wear. This is generally the grade given to a 20 to 50 years old record with a "normal" life, treated with care, but listened and handled regularly by his former owner. VG + (VERY GOOD +) Has been played a lot, shows multiple slight surface marks (hairlines) generating background noise between songs but no jump or skips. Cover shows important signs of age and storage (slice corners worn, name, date, dedication, tears, etc....). Generally, this record was one of the favorites among previous owner discotheque, went from hand to hand, had to animate some parties and bears the scars of a busy life. VG (VERY GOOD) The record is very worn, has been played a lot, shows important scratches that are creating permanent background noises but do not skip or jump. Still listenable (especially at high volume for big sound). The cover is well worn, torn important corner and edge wear, significant traces of marker pen or... well, the previous grade but more accentuated. G (GOOD) Has been played to the hilt (but still playable on some titles), many scratches, crackles a lot while playing, may have jumps or sticks. The cover is very damaged. This record must be very rare to be proposed on sale ! We tend to exaggerate our gradations, however, in case of doubt, do not hesitate to ask questions before bidding. Cleaning The sleeves are generally cleaned. Each collector has his own method for cleaning vinyl records, those that we offer for sale are just clean with a smooth velvet brush to take off the dust before being photographed. Photos Our records are always photographed by natural light. No scanning which tends to erase some defects. G (Good): Passable Etat pochette: L'état de la pochette est proche de celui de VG- avec en plus des écritures, un papier gondolé à cause de l'humidité, des déchirures sur les bords. Etat disque: La qualité du son est détériorée par les nombreuses lectures, il y a des rayures et défauts de surface, du souffle, des sauts et/ou des craquements répétés et nuisibles. B (Bad): Mauvais Etat pochette: La pochette est trés abimée avec des déchirures, des traces et marques d'usure un peu partout. Etat disque: Le disque n'est plus jouable correctement à cause des trop nombreuses rayures et défauts de surface. Le disque peut être cassé, dans ce cas il mérite sa place au catalogue uniquement s'il est rare.

You who are looking for the ultimate piece in your collection of this huge band of music, here it is, you have just found. Condition: EX+ cover and  NM disc Extremely rare. Gatefold sleeve. Only 200 copies in the world edited in 1985.  The sound is breathtaking, i've never heard basses so deep and others instruments so clear on all  recording media otherwise available (Strange Fruit 1991, remasters on The Best Of 2006 etc.) and this is due to the reading speed 45 rpm. Absoluty an hypnotic performance (Paul MORLEY, NME).  Tracklist: Side A: Exercise one / Insight / She's lost control / Transmission  Side B: Love will tear us apart / Twenty four hours / Colony / The sound of music  Source: the two Peel Sessions january & september 1979 (studios BBC & Maida Vale) I bought it in LONDON in 1986 at a specialized record shop (unofficial release). A magnficient highly collectible objet for a real fan! The artwork was inspired by Peter SAVILLE, initially planned for STILL album. Really much rarer than the french 7" SORDIDE SENTIMENTAL " Licht und Blindheit" SS 33002. You'll never find this item elsewhere on sale (auctions websites, Discogs, CD&LP etc.). The graphic comes from the painting of Caspar David FREIDRICH "Monastery cimetery in the snow", the painter become popular with the "Traveler contemplating a sea of clouds". EXTRAS: incredible sound effects at the begenning and the end of each disc as follows: Side A begins with thunder and rain sound effects, then a scratching sound (as the needle is roughly sliding across the grooves), and then some mad laughter followed by a "welcome!". After the tracks it closes with another stylus scratching noise and an annoyed voice exclaiming something along the lines of "Hey, what are you trying to do, man? You ruined my record, I just bought it!" Side B features, dialogue taken from (or later used in) an Apollonia Six (Prince offshoot) album spoken word track called Ooo She She Wa Wa at the beginning and the end. Side B starts with the following dialogue: "God bless Susan and Brenda and my rabbit, Smokey Oh, and God, please bless all the people on Neptune Amen Apollonia? Who said that? It's Brenda from Neptune {laughter} Get up girl, its too early to be in bed Oh Brenda, what is it? Get up I'm tired Come here, I want you to hear something What? Come on, come on Oh Brenda, where are we going? Shhh, listen What do you mean I'm too young? If this happens to be your problem then this book will be ideal if you want to discover what this political philosophy stands for and what its issues are and, indeed, have been for a long time. Emma Goldman, a woman with as fiery a personality as they come, has put together here a number of essays about anarchy that are easy to comprehend and definately thought inspiring. Despite this book having been first published in 1917 it loses nothing of its importance in the current state affairs as all of the issues Goldman deals with not only remain unsolved but they have -in the meantime- become a social burden or a social disaster much worse than back in her time. Oh, and back in her time things already looked bad enough. What you get here is, summarily, the following: -anarchy, what is it and what does it stand for? Beyond the mainstream media cliches anarchy stands for personal and societal freedom of the highest conceivable order. A freedom, anarchists insist, that is not a utopia. It's basically a hard lesson in crushing your illusions and opening unthought of doors of perception of what freedom really means. That would be then something other than being in a cage and having food thrown in. Even if the cage is invisible.. -Hard punching essays about the prison system and the everself-destructing notion of patriotism.. Funny how every line one reads in there could've been written yesterday. Not much has changed. After decades and decades of the imprisonment system has society become more law-abiding? That would be a thundering no. Why is that? As for patriotism, the incredible notion of dying for your country the same one that might be killing you slowly while draining you of all your resources and enslaving you in a wage system and a daily mindless-toil called "work". here, Emma has to say a lot. There's always a reason to die if someone is going to make money out of it (that would be NOT you) and dress the whole "cause" up as patriotic.. -The hypocrisy of puritanism as well as the seemingly eternal joke of marriage and "love" are also given the treatment they deserve. In a society based on hypocrisy alltogether, you have to start on a personal level. You have to lose your personal chains before you attempt to free others. Your personal chains begin with the things you've been taught to hold most sacred (as is generally the case). The morals that are not yours. Whom do they really serve? The institutions that everyone notices they have fail and yet most continue to serve them. Why? How can this possibly be? These are just some of the issues dealt with in Emma's essays. A classic book that will basically reprogram your brain if you honestly think about the issues in it. But reprogrammed into what? Well, it will only reprogram you into thinking for yourself. For once. If you do, you'll find that the illusion you've been living in does indeed serve someone. Your long hard road to becoming an individual will thus commence. Good, But Not the Best Collection of Emma's Work This is a good collection of essays by Emma Goldman; however, it is not the best one available. That would be _Red Emma Speaks_, which contains the best material in this volume as well as other excellent essays and excerpts from her entire life's work. In addition, all of this book is available on the Web. So I would have to recommend that those interested in Emma's work get _Red Emma Speaks_ instead of this one. as relevent today as it was in Emma Goldman's day Being historically one the more important yet obscure figures in American history, Emma Goldman's anarchist thought is as relevent today as it was when she wrote "Anarchism, and Other Essays". In an age where political apathy, intellectual ignorance and spiritual corruption are the failings of modern civilzation, Emma Goldman's Enlightenment thought is illuminating in its message of the power of direct action as she so lucidly illustrates: "Anarchism urges man to think, to investigate, to analyze every proposition... (Anarchism is the) philosophy of a new social order based on liberty unrestricted by man-made law; the theory that all forms of government rest on violence, and are therefore wrong and harmful, as well as unnecessary. "The new social order rests, of course, on the materialistic basis of life; but while all Anarchists agree that the main evil today is an economic one, they maintain that the solution of that evil can be brought about only through the consideration of every phase of life,--individual, as well as the collective; the internal, as well as the external phases. "A thorough perusal of the history of human development will disclose two elements in bitter conflict with each other; elements that are only now beginning to be understood, not as foreign to each other, but as closely related and truly harmonious, if only placed in proper environment: the individual and social instincts. The individual and society have waged a relentless and bloody battle for ages, each striving for supremacy, because each was blind to the value and importance of the other. The individual and social instincts,--the one a most potent factor for individual endeavor, for growth, aspiration, self-realization; the other an equally potent factor for mutual helpfulness and social well-being." From just that little exerpt it is easy to understand why any and all authority was terrified of Emma Goldman and why her important contributions to society have been muzzled from histories - down the "memory hole" to use an Orwellian expression.Again, "Anarchism, and Other Essays" is as relevent today as it was in Emma Goldman's day and necessary material for anyone truly interested or involved in altruistic direct action. Il s'agit du CD Collector "Instrumental Version Collection". Sorti en 1988 uniquement au Japon, il comporte 7 versions instrumentales (ou "dub") des tubes de Michael. Par exemple "Billie Jean" et "Thriller" (introuvables en CD) ou "The Way You Make Me Feel", "Man In The Mirror", "Dirty Diana", "Bad" et "Another Part Of Me". Sans conteste l'un des CDs collector japonais les plus appréciables. Bon état. ''LIGHTNIN''' the blues of LIGHTNIN' HOPKINS - PRESTIGE BVLP 1019 -  Original MONO 1961 - Premier pressage - First pressing -  État : Occasion - Used VG+ (record), VG (sleeve) ETAT/ CONDITIONS Disque/ Vinyl record VG + avec tres belle qualité de son délivrée par l'enregistrement mono (puissance, relief, présence voix et instruments, etc..) Un peu de légers, très faibles crépitements par moments et peu fréquents, avec la dynamique du son, la voix, instruments etc... ils sont à peine audible. Les basses sortent merveilleusement. Quelques très fines rayures - griffures superficielles  sans conséquence sur la qualité audio. Pourrait être grader en EX sans souci mais je préfère rester VG + Je l'ai testé sur ma Sony PS V715 avec les basses à mi - puissance et il joue d'une manière fantastique et envoutante. Un des plus grands enregistrement de blues qui n'ai jamais été fait et que j'ai entendu.    VG+: Quelques défauts sont acceptables, mais rien qui compromet réellement l'enregistrement, ceci visuellement ou à l'audition. On peut avoir (visuellement)  un petit frottement sur le disque, de lègères marques inaudibles, un léger bruit de crépitement en fond. A few further faults are acceptable, but nothing that really compromises the record visually or audibly. A little rub, light inaudible marks, a little background crackle Pochette / Sleeve VG: traces d'usure bien visibles, avec ancienne traces d'humidité sur le devant au coin inferieur droit, petite usure coin inferieur et supérieur gauche, usure bord droit de l'ouverture avec léger décollement et petits plis  de la pellicule laminée. Tranche acceptable et lisible mais avec un petit manque de la pellicule laminée (1/2 cm2). le manque déborde un peu sur le devant. Dos: traces d'humidité anciennes et sèches bord inférieur gauche, avec carton sous-jacent moins rigide, taches diverses. Présence d'un joli sticker d'un beau rouge fuchsia "SONICA", 2 place du jeu de balle à  BRUXELLES (avec N° téléphone à 6 chiffres !!!)
