The game is so massive it requires a 4" high box! Wan Chiu created the artwork for this mega game. He got off to a fantastic start with a classic box cover design. The game design focuses on the battlefield tactics and Napoleon’s powerful personality. Through political and military cunning, Napoleon swept France to super-power status. In previous Field Commander games, supply was a primary concern. As the Emperor himself said, “An army travels on its stomach.” In this game, Napoleon’s achievements and public adulation drive all facets of game play. Be successful, gain the support of your troops and your countrymen, and you can achieve anything! The game spans all of Napoleon’s campaigns from Italy in 1796 to Waterloo in 1815. Success depends on the vital balance between strategic and tactical focus. You must move your forces across the maps to achieve your strategic goals, but you must also out-think your opponents on the battlefield. Consulter nos évaluations Ajouter cette boutique à mes favoris Battle for Stalingrad 36,75 € Disponibilité: en stock The Battle for Stalingrad lasted 200 days, from July 17, 1942 to February 2, 1943. Hitler himself had ordered the capture of the key Soviet city, and his armies were determined to carry out his orders. Opposing the German armies were the civilians and armed forces of Russia. In desperate house-to-house fighting the two sides fought, bleed, and froze in the chilling Russian winter. The Battle For Stalingrad puts you in the rubble-strewn streets as the German forces fight through one block of the city after another. The only hope for both sides is to secure the city before they run out of blood and food. As the game unfolds, you’ll see one section of the city after another ground into rubble by your ceaseless fighting. As the city deteriorates, the amount of supplies generated for your men decreases. Supplies are the lifeblood of your army. Without them, you cannot move or attack, and you’ll suffer higher casualties in combat. In the end, you’ll be scrambling through the ruins, as much in search of food as the enemy. Key Design Features: An excellent 2 player game. KESSELSCHLACHT - against the odds - NEUF new - unpunched Kesselschlacht  (literally, "cauldron battle") is a simulation depicting the encirclement and escape of the German First Panzer Army from the Ukraine in the Spring of 1944. The German forces were very low on fuel and ammunition and had been caught flat-footed by yet another overwhelming Soviet offensive. First Panzer Army had been cut off by a total of nine Soviet armies. Its breakout began on March 25, 1944, and continued into early April. In these two weeks, the Germans continuously conducted a mobile defense as their pocket drove westward in an effort to meet a relief force (which was spearheaded by the II SS Panzer Corps) attacking eastward. Supplied by air much of the time, First Panzer Army deceived the Soviet forces by moving west, instead of south as the Soviet generals had anticipated. The pocket crossed several swollen rivers, and struggled through thick mud and deep snow, yet somehow remained intact. Unlike the Korsun Pocket disaster the month before, this time the Germans avoided yet another debacle. The commander of the First Panzer Army, Generaloberst Hans Hube, through his skillful leadership, proved to be a master of mobile defensive warfare. Kesselschlacht  game & issue #3 of ATO: Full color 22"x34" upgraded map 360 full color die-cut counters Rulebook length - 22 pages Charts and tables - 2 pages Complexity - Medium Solitaire suitability - Medium Playing time - 8 hours
