Sony PS-X70 (1978-1979) Stereo Turntable System Fully Automatic Direct Drive READ THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY ! This turntable belonged to my father, he bought it in the early 80s. I had to disassemble a wooden cabinet to take it out, and it probably saved it from the dump. It's in fully working condition, I've been using it a little for the past years, with an amplifier (also for sale, check my items) and a pair of speakers from the same era. You can see it in action here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oKFJ5RfOVE Turntable is perfectly silent, stroboscope is steady at both 33 and 45 RPM, disc format selector and pitch potentiometer works as intended, as well as all the settings to adjust the position and balance of the arm. /!/ I'm not sure if the lever to lower the arm works 100% properly, after a long period without using the turntable, the arm takes a while to go down (works perfectly to raise the arm however) /!/ /!/ The phono cable is old and the housing is a little damaged, still works perfectly but a purist may want to replace it /!/ A few marks here and here but overall in excellent cosmetic condition. The transparent top case is in good condition and stays up as intended by the hinges. The turntable is 100% genuine, apart from the needle that I changed a few years ago by a cheap one but wich works well. It's sold with the genuine owner's manual in english, french, german and spanish languages (almost impossible to find nowadays). It also comes with the genuine aluminium adaptor for 45T discs. I also give a few accessories with it: - a carbon fiber cleaner to clean the dust from discs - a tiny spirit level to check the level of the turntable - a small brush to clean the needle (Sony brand, vintage) - the needle that was installed on the arm when I found the turntable (not in good condition, just for reference) The turntable weights aproximately 13kg. Der optische Zustand ist fantastisch - "nahe Mint Condition"!! Das komplette Gehäuse mit seitlichen Palisander-Applikationen sieht aus wie neu ! - vorne / hinten / seitlich - alles in super gutem Zustand ! Keine Kratzer oder ähnliches - auch keine Schlieren ! - praktisch "neuwertig"! Die originale Gummiauflagen-Matte ist ebenfalls im Topzustand. Einzig beim Plattenteller gibt es im Alu minimale Gebrauchsspuren - die lassen sich aber vermutlich mit etwas Alu-Paste ebenfalls weg polieren. Die Haube hat auch keine wirklichen Kratzer, eher "Putzspuren" - mit etwas "Plastic-Polish" wird sie komplett "wie neu" aussehen. Ich habe es gerade ausprobiert - das Material ist schön weich (wie bei den Dual Hauben). Sie ist aber bereits auch so sehr gut ! Sie bleibt nicht immer geöffnet, ich nehme aber an, das lässt sich von hinten nachjustieren. Der Plattenspieler wurde komplett gesäubert. Alles im allem ein sensationeller Zustand ! Technischer Zustand - Er stand jetzt mindestens 7 Jahre unbenutzt bei dem Vater meiner Frau. Der gesamte Antrieb läuft ohne Nebengeräusche ! Er erreicht mühelos die Nenndrehzahl und bei Erreichen leuchtet die orangene Quarzlampe und diese bleibt auch konstant an. Der Tonarm führt auch manchmal seine Funktionen aus und schaltet am Ende auch ab und fährt zurück. Aber der Player scheint einen elektrischen Fehler zu haben ! Zwar lassen sich alle Tasten bedienen und leuchten auch entsprechend auf. Aber nur manchmal machen sie annähernd was sie sollen, meistens leider nicht. Z.b. lässt sich dann u.a. plötzlich die Geschwindigkeit nicht mehr umschalten. Fazit - Ich bekomme den Plattenspieler einfach nicht in einen geregelten Automatik-Abspielmodus. Irgendetwas scheint also nicht zu stimmen - meiner Meinung nach aber nichts mechanisches. Ich kann keinerlei Geräusche vernehmen ! - da scheint alles top zu sein. Ich habe ihn auch zig' Stunden am Stück laufen lassen und der Antrieb funktioniert gleichbleibend perfekt ! Aus oben genannten Gründen muss ich den Plattenspieler leider als "teil-defekt" verkaufen ! Lieferung ohne Tonabnehmer - den konnte ich nicht finden - vermutlich handelt es sich um ein Kenwood System N-39 MKIII. Das gibt es bereits für wenig Geld im. Mit originaler Headshell. Inclusive Single-Puck ! Der Plattenspieler wird sehr gut verpackt ! Das Balancegewicht wird abgenommen, eventuelle Transportsicherungen fixiert etc.  Und ich benutze jede Menge Material zum Auspolstern des Paketes. Er wird massiv gesichert ! Abmessungen mit Haube - Circa 47 cm x 41cm x 14 cm. Gewicht - Circa 9 kg.
