Curtain vintage

This is a lovely French, light filtering Single Panel Floral window curtain. Era. 1950's Size: Width 150 cm Length 186cm A lovely lace net curtain with a floral pattern and a nice sheen to the fabric. There is a rod pocket at the top and bottom of the curtain for easy hanging on a curtain wire or rod.   There are also nine old metal 'O' rings which have been hand sewn to the curtain. I have left these on but can easily be removed. This is a lovely curtain - clean and ready to hang. There are a couple of flaws. There has been a hand sewn repair to the fabric and there is also a very faint mark. These are very hard to spot and are not seen when the curtain is hung. Please see last 2 photographs.

This Vintage French pictorial net curtain panel has a scene of dolphins leaping from the waves, with a tropical island and a yacht in the background.  Seagulls skim the waves in the foreground, and fly overhead. It can be hung from a curtain rod or pole, using the eyelets at the top.   It measures 60 cms wide x 162 cms long, including the fringe.  Excellent condition.  See photos. From Normandy, France.

This very pretty tiered net curtain panel has a motif of birds...thrushes, probably...sitting on branches.  The main colour is white with details picked out in subtle shades of amber and green It can be hung from a curtain rod or pole, using the eyelets at the top.  It could if necessary be cut across the tiers to shorten, or made into two smaller curtains. A lovely pair of French Vintage Curtain Tie Backs, Thick Rope Curtain Passementerie Ties Pretty vintage rope style curtain tie backs in shades of green. There are a mix of colours including stripes also. They are quite large and could hold full and heavy curtains. They will add an elegance to any window dressing. Each curtain measures: 85cm Width  63cm Length The curtain is made from polyester and has eye-let holes at the top for easy hanging on a curtain wire or pole. Antique Old FRENH HANDMADE CURTAIN with CHERUB PUTTI ANGELS and ROSES Circa 1900 This beautiful textile is an antique Vintage French curtain in very fine cotton that dates from the 1900's. One handmade embroidered decor of cherubs. The side bottom is finished with a fringes. (some are partly missing) There are also some wear, cuts in the embroidery and a few small stains. These vintage French Net  Café Curtains consist of two pairs, each curtain measuring 56 cms wide.  One pair are 59 cms long and the other pair 31 cms long. They are designed to be hung across windows from rods or wires through the eyelets at the top. They have a blue tulip motif and have scalloped edges. In good condition, see photos.

  This gorgeous pair of curtains in traditional Toile de Jouy is named " Pastorale" Boussac Romanex in medium to lightweight pure cotton, they are hand finished & would look great in any room and are in excellent condition with rufflette heading, freshly laundered & ready to hang.  Complete with 18 metal hooks & two tie backs that have a pink satin ribbon trim, which could be changed to match their new owner's decor. Unlined Literally translating to "Cloth from Jouy" (a little town near Versailles), this famous, pretty printed fabric is an important part of French history and savoir-faire. Along with idyllic, romantic landscape scenes, toile patterns were also used to tell a story. Some referenced tales of European mythology and others mirrored major events of the time. For the printing process, vignettes were originally carved on woodblocks, and after 1770, engraved on copper plates. MEASUREMENTS of each curtain    Length  2.7 meters = 106 ins with a 6 ins hem. This is a Beautiful Extra large Traditional French vintage white floral curtain,  It is one large panel curtain with an attached double header tape (5cm) which has been pulled. This can be undone to suit your curtain heading type.  The curtain has a rolled hem at the bottom and a 24cm inside frill for fullness. Measures: 284 cm in width     235 cm in length  Material: Polycotton There is a tiny mark on the inside frill which may come off with some gentle sponging and I have also found a small snag/pull in the fabric. Please study last photographs. These flaws are tiny and in know way detract from the loveliness of the curtain and would not be seen once hung.
