Mylar diaphragm. The crossover components for the bass and midrange are housed in a pair of external crossover boxes. The midrange to treble crossover components are housed in the speaker panel and are non-defeatable. Although the MG3.6/R system is set up for conventional single amplifier operation, the speaker input plates provide for bi-wiring  or bi-amplification as an option.
