The Korg D8 is a portable multitrack recording device.  The device is compact enough to be transported on the road, but also powerful enough to hold multi-layered song recordings for mixing and post-production. The D8 contains both analog and digital capabilities, and is therefore suitable as part of an electronic MIDI chain or as a traditional recording device. Registration The Korg D8 lets you record up to eight individual audio tracks per song. Tracks 1 through 6 are designated for monophonic recording - or using a single audio input (like a guitar cable) - while tracks 7 and 8 are used exclusively for stereo recording (left and right). Hard disk The D8 packs 1.4 GB of hard drive space, which translates to 34 minutes of recording using the total capacity of 8 tracks. Since the D8 does not use tapes or CDs, you can transfer your recordings from the hard drive to an external source such as a computer, tape recorder or external disc player, using the RCA outputs (red and white), the SCSI port or the digital S / PDIF interface. Display screen The black and white LCD screen allows you to browse and access your saved song files, edit and delete the contents of your hard drive, apply effects and equalize your recordings. Use the round value dial and arrow keys to navigate your onscreen options. Optional track coupling If you want to record all of your tracks in stereo rather than mono, you can use the D8 as a four-track recorder by pairing your tracks. For example, if you pair tracks one and two using the pairing buttons on the corresponding channel strips, track one becomes channel “L” or “left”, and track two becomes channel “R” or " law ". Editing The D8 functions as a portable mixer with its volume faders, pan knobs and EQ knobs track by track. Each channel strip contains all of these characteristics, so you can adjust each song in your mix to suit your needs. Use the volume sliders at the bottom of the D8 to set the appropriate levels for each track; use the “Pan” buttons to move each recording between the center, right and left channels; and use the “EQ” buttons to adjust the audio frequencies. You can adjust precise equalization parameters using the LCD display. This unit is a type of preamplifier in that you canuse it to control the volume from line input devices like CD players, tuners,tape decks, etc.  It also has a graphic equalizer with 5 memory settings and you can control all the frequencies of the EQ from the remote control whichis something I have not seen before.  You can switch to a real time spectrum analyzer display which will move to the music.   Other features include JVC's SEA "acoustic expander" which does exactly what you'd expect.  The EQ has 5 memory settings and a reverse setting aswell which instantly give you the exact opposite eq curve.   Allbuttons, controls, features, and display are working correctly.  Shows very little wear. All buttons on remote are working correctly- the remote can control other JVC components as well.    On the back are three line inputs- one labelled Audio, one labelled Video 1, and one labelled Video 2/3.  Youcould use these inputs for a tuner, a CD deck, and a tape deck.  There are also two sets of stereo outputs.  In order to use the EQ and graphic display and volume control all at the same time you need to loop the outputlabelled "Line Out" into the "Remote Contro In"-  am including the JVC instruction book and the original remote controller for this purpose. Technics SH-GE90 DSP - Equalizer - Digital Sound Processor. Hi, I'm selling this Technics DSP because I have no use for it anymore. It's a Technics SH-GE90 Digital Sound Processor. The unit has some scratches due to usage and storage, especially on the plastic parts. There's some paint missing at the back of the unit (see pictures). The DSP display flickers slightly. This is a typical fault of this unit, which can easily be remedied by replacing a dry capacitor. You can find information about this in the net. The audio functions are not affected by this. I'm not good at soldering, I don't want to damage it by trying to repair it. It has never been serviced. The unit is sold with a power cord. I'll send the unit using the UPS standard service, sorry for the high shipping cost. I never had any issues shipping fragile items with them and I don't want the unit damaged because I've used another service. The unit will be well protected and all moving parts will be secured. The shipping costs takes into account the packaging itself I have to provide and the fact that I have to drive 60km, round trip, to go to the nearest UPS Access Point. So that's why the shipping cost is a bit higher than you should expect (I added approx 5€ for packaging and fuel). Sorry non-European buyers, the shipping cost is too high for non-European countries (almost 120€ !) and I don't want to take the risk to send the unit that far, I'm sorry. If you need to exchange an item received, you will need to go through the normal returns process identified in our returns section and then order the correct item, if it is still available. Orders are processed immediately and dispatched to fulfillment as soon as they are received. For this reason, we are typically unable to honor cancellation requests. If you need to cancel the transaction, please contact us as soon as possible and we will attempt to cancel the order. If the order has gone too far through the fulfillment process, we will be unable to cancel.
