The bottom piece of the center column can be removed and used as a center section column so you can work close to the ground. The maximum headless height is approximately 146cm, when pushed against each other 54cm (transport size). With a tripod head (not included) and the height of the camera viewfinder, you should get a comfortable viewfinder height of around 160cm.
