The EMW VCO 104 is a 100% analog voltage controlled oscillator with four waveforms: SQUARE, SAWTOOTH, TRIANGLE and SINE. Its transistorized core circuit produces very sharp and powerful analog waveforms. It has precise waveform generation, excellent stability with 1V/octave frequency tracking over five octaves. The VCO-104 from EMW is the ideal tool for a truly 'fat' analog sound generation. The Voltage Comparators module is used to trigger other modules as a function of a certain incoming voltage level. This module has four units, two of them producing a stable level output and the other two producing short trigger pulses. The outputs normally remain in zero volts (low) until the incoming voltage source reaches the adjusted level (0-10V.). When it happens the correspondent output goes high. The “LEVEL OUT” remain high while the incoming voltage keeps a level equal or greater than the adjusted voltage, while the “TRIG. Thanks to the interface you will be able to sequence it via midi and so use it as a duophonic desktop synth. This is a 3U case of 84hp (PSU3 with one busboard of 22 plugs).
