Here is a very rare Sigma 28mm f/2.8 H.L. Wide (NOT the much more common and worse Mini Wide) at an exceptional price + a nice Sigma hard case. The prominent metal cam (as well as a prominent plastic part) that is used to control the aperture from the camera was cut out, to enable mounting on Sigma SA cameras. So this lens won't allow auto-aperture on Pentax cameras. But it has an aperture ring, so it can be adapted, for instance, on a Sony mirrorless camera with a Pentax K to Sony E adapter, and be operated with no issues like any other adapted lens. Apart from that, the lens is mechanically faultless. Optically, there's a little scratch on the front lens, that can't be seen on images. A few painted markings are gone. Otherwise, nothing to report. Please read what Sigma says about this lens. It explains what the difference is vs the previous 28mm f/2.8 versions, like the Mini Wide. And yet, in 1985, SIGMA released a new prime lens. It was a lens that made a unique promise: “zero vignetting.” The lens went on sale as the SIGMA NON VIGNETTING 28mm F2.8. However, the term “vignetting” was not yet in widespread use, and so later versions instead used the name SIGMA H,L (Highlight) WIDE 28mm F2.8. The engineering and construction were extremely good, it was a dependable workhorse. The weight of the unit (a whopping 7 kg) tells the tale! Price was in line with the quality. Few could afford an ELMO - often twice or three times the price of other brands.   Well, now you can afford an ELMO!  This particular item is in very good condition. It has been fully refurbished by cleaning, oiling all bearings and dusting away all pollution. The proprietary hard-to-find ELMO power socket has been changed to a standard IEC socket. The 150W light bulb has been replaced by a brand new bulb.  It runs smoothly, from 14 fps to 24 fps (continuous setting). Its brighness is great, with its  f1.4 15-25mm zoom lens and its 150 W halogen light bulb. The halogen bulb will be in its own box, with adequate protection. It comes complete with cover, take-up spool, and power cord.   The projector will be very carefully packed so as to not be damaged during shipment. Excellent, very clean condition, with only a very few very minor marks on the top cover. Two of the plastic toggle switches have the ends broken off, but function normally.
