Le secret de cette réussite tient dans le développement d'un design minimaliste et la réduction extrême de la taille du boîtier. Réalisées dans un alliage d'aluminium et de magnésium très résistant mais très léger pour en réduire le poids, les deux coques qui accueillent les transducteurs à armature équilibrée présentent un diamètre de seulement 5,5 mm. La parfaite maîtrise par Final du réglage des transducteurs à armature équilibrée permet aux écouteurs intra-auriculaires Final F4100d'offrir un son d'une grande richesse, précis et chaleureux. Présentant une pression acoustique et une impédance identique aux écouteurs intra-auriculaires Final F3100, les Final F4100 s'en distinguent par une signature sonore un peu moins descendante, au bénéfice d'un meilleur équilibre général. ? Le câble des écouteurs intra-auriculaires Final F4100 mesure 1,20 m de longueur. Amovible, il dispose de connecteurs au format MMCX (micro-miniature coaxial) côté oreillettes. Je me sépare de cet excellent convertisseur D/A vintage, musicalement l'un des plus réputés parmi les Dac haut de gamme de l'époque, au même titre que Sonic Frontiers, Counterpoint, Stax et Mark Levinson. Il lit le 16/44 et 48 khz, cette limitation de format ne l'empêche pas de pouvoir rivaliser avec des Dac modernes beaucoup plus chers qui suréchantillonnent en 24/192 mais qui sont au final moins musicaux? L'écoute est extrêmement riche, transparente, musicale. Il est en excellent état cosmétique (la façade est vraiment comme neuve) et fonctionne parfaitement, c'est une seconde main, le constructeur existe toujours.
