Very Decorative 3 Light Vintage French Bronze Chandelier A lovely chandelier richly enhanced with flamboyant bronze detailing.   The deep cupped ceiling rose is has an elegant embossed pattern rising from the finely detailed centre. The suspension post has a small delicate hook at the bottom from which is suspended the short chain, which comprises two plain and one fancy link. At the top of the central column is a superb and very large trefoil hook, embossed with detailed swirls of plumage. The column has a slender neck enhanced with soft folded plumes and this widens out to a central piece covered in delightful coquille and acanthus leaves. The centre and base of the chandelier are identical, with a high domed shape, they are smothered in richly detailed trails of acanthus leaves spreading out from the centre and fine stippling on the rim. There is a plain bronze band around the centre and it is from here that the three arms extend.  Each of the rich curling arms is enveloped in sweeping plumes along the length and have deep acanthus flower candle cups set at the end. All are complete with faux candle sleeves. This fine chandelier is completed by lovely bronze finial in the centre base. In excellent condition it has developed a deep aged patina over the years which together with the fine decoration make it a superb and vintage addition to any home.
