Here we have an example of Pentax's fast portrait lens. This is from the generation of K-mount lenses that Pentax made before introducing the "M" K-mounts: build quality is a little higher than those later lenses. Unfortunately, this one has some fungus, mainly on on the edges of the inside of the front element. I suspect the performance impact would be subtle if any is visible, but I have not tested it. There is also a dent in the filter thread, so filters are not an option. Otherwise, things are good: focus is smooth across the range, aperture selector clicks nicely at each stop, iris blades are clean and snappy, cosmetic condition (apart from the ding) is very good.  Be sure to check out my other sales. The interface has been well taken care of, is in good condition and working perfectly. Superlative objective and subjective performance, among others equipped with what is still the best audio ADC ever manufactured (AK5394A), sadly phased out by manufacturer. The interface recently underwent maintenance: all pots, connectors and switches have been tested and lubricated, electrolytic capacitors have been measured and changed where showing signs of parameters degradation (sadly a common occurrence). Measurement of electrical performance has been performed using professional audio analyzers (Audio Precision and Prism dScope) - the interface meets and exceeds manufacturer specifications. E-MU 1010 card can be installed as is in a PCI slot, or in a PCIe slot using the included adapter. Note that the interface is no longer under active support by E-MU/Creative.
