Beautiful French mid century bronzed effect metal and glass country style ceiling light.The light is made up of a bronzed effect metal framework with a large glass bowl shade in amber opaque glass. The light hangs from a 6 link chain bar and round cup style ceiling rose. This mid century light would suit many room settings adding a French country feel to your home decoration. Pots anciens, pot de fleurs signé du célèbre auteur BESSON "Anges aux guirlandes", bronze patiné, laiton, 19ème siècle, France. Le nom même de «cache pot» (pots), s'il est traduit du français, montre le but des pots - cacher le pot, c'est un pot de fleurs. Un charmant pot de fleurs ancien, malgré sa petite taille, est très lumineux, il est richement décoré de dessins en bas-relief avec des scènes de la vie des anges putti, cinq anges jouent avec des guirlandes de fleurs; un ange vole, un autre marche, deux autres anges s'assoient, et un, paresseux, se couche même! Et tout le monde a des guirlandes entre les mains! Ce modèle se répète en cercle comme un motif. Travail très délicat, tous les détails sont visibles, la dynamique est remarquablement rendue, les anges sont comme des anges vivants, il y a une signature du célèbre maître français "BESSON", ce qui est extrêmement rare et augmente la valeur de cette jardinière! La jardinière repose solidement sur 3 pieds, décorés de motifs floraux. The very name "cache pot" (pots), if translated from French, shows the purpose of the pots - to hide the pot, this is a flowerpot. A charming antique flower pot, despite its small size, is very bright, it is richly decorated with bas-relief drawings with scenes from the life of putti angels, five angels are playing with garlands of flowers; one angel flies, another walks, two more angels sit, and one, lazy, even lay down! And everyone has garlands in their hands! This pattern is repeated in a circle like a motive. Very delicate work, all the details are visible, the dynamics are remarkably rendered, the angels are like living angels, there is a signature of the famous French master "BESSON", which is extremely rare and increases the value of this planter! Bougeoir ancien "Magnifique", bronze, émail, 19ème siècle, époque Napoléon III, France. Le bougeoir ancien du 19ème siècle est très beau et élégant: émail de couleurs bleu, blanc, bleu et rouge avec des cloisons en bronze, comme on l'appelle en France «cloisonné», sous la forme de motifs floraux et floraux inédits typiques de l'époque napoléonienne.
